That Divide Edges is actually REALLY handy for me for doing lighting fixture layouts. It's like CAD "divide", or Revit's pain-in-the-... method of using dimensioning to split groups of reference planes or lines. This tool is much easier. Now you can now easily setup equal:equal spacing scenarios. Thanks for tips!

1001Bit Tools is one of my favorite extensions. I actually use both the divide along edges and the draw perpendicular line tools quite often. I think the divide alone edges tool is much better than the native divide tool in that it marks the end (or center) of each section so you don't have to hunt for them. It also gives you the option of centering an entity at the center of your edge or centering a division at the center of your edge.

Great video! As a 2D CAD user a lot of these simple tools like extending and filleting will be very handy, the grove tool looks amazing as do the stair, window and roof tools! I will install this plugin and let you know how I go on my next project. Most of these things can be done with the built in SU tools, but you need to know the tricks learned through years of trial and error, and often with a lot of extra guide lines and placeholder geometry to assist with the task at hand. Nice toolset! Just a quick remark about the one that creates a complete roof structure - you basically loose your undo-redo because it uses more steps than SU can undo. So you probably wanna copy-paste the roof in a separate SU window, create the structure and copy-paste it back into your project

This plugin hasnt been updated since something like 2010 and has been long abandoned! Its still always one of my first plugins (along with the similar JHS powerbar) to install because there is always the need from some random tool rare tool it has. At some point, i had the pro version of this and i lost it and always regretted not having the pro version afterwards. i never paid for it so not sure how i had it but its in the past.

How can I download extensions or upload my models if I'm SU 2019 user? It seems SU sales team stopped warehouses for older versions of SU to force us buy new versions.

You can download models using the free online version of SketchUp or directly from the 3D Warehouse website. Extensions can also be downloaded directly from the extension warehouse site.

@@Thesketchupessentials i just tried it on my stream sir. as long as we setting our sketchup on metric system, the plugin 1001Bit will automatically use metric system too. anyway. thanks 4 the content sir it's super helpful, eventho i still got little hard time to build the stairs so i still create the stairs for the building i build on my stream manually XDDDDD
