Man that sucks majorly Bro! Emil you are one of the "Good Guys" and a class act, a dude that never pouts or talks crap like some of the other "RC boaters" do in their videos . I really hate to see that happen to your boat man but I know you will get her back out in no time. Thanks for the shout-out as well I really appreciate that. 👊

Sorry about your Zonda man that sucks. Some people don't realize that hitting water at those speeds is like hitting concrete.

Its tuff on anything crashing at these speeds 😱🤕

You got it & if you have ever water ski on slolom ski & crash at 60mph you know how hard water gets at those speeds the ground is softer!

Holy crap Emil!!😱She was skipping across the water like a rock!👀Yeah the water was definitely getting sketchy right there! Glad it's not a total loss man..it happens in the game. Hope for a better run next time bro!😎👊

Yea... strange enough the boat is still rock solid, but i will need to look a bit more into it and maybe patch it up. I had planned for a refresh on the paint later this year anyway, its just a shame it need to look like this for the rest of the season 🙈👍🏼 i hold my head High, it will run untill its no longer capable 🚀

Too windy to be running 98mph❗ This is all part of Racing man but at least you got the boat back. Water is hard as concrete at these speeds & boats can disintegrate after losing control from all the extreme stress so things could have been a whole lot worse. Thanks for sharing & hope to see your boat back on the water soon.👍👍💛

Thanks for the support ! You are right... i will never drive this boat close to 100mph in such conditions again🙈 will be back soon

That sucks bro let me know if and when you get it fixed I did something similar to my proboat veles 29 I was driving later in the evening and was about 2 ft from a buoy had the wrong direction of the front of the boat cause the reflection on the water looked like the front was the back and the back was the front and bumped the buoy going about 15mph and when it came back down from straddling the buoy the buoy must of had a screw on it somewhere and it punctured the bottom right sponson as I don't have the money to fix it right now just filled the hole with some flex seal and plan to take it to my local auto body shop and have them repair the hull and repaint it but don't know what I am going to do about the decals as no one sells them for the veles 29 kinda sucks cause only the 4 th run ever with it but gotta do what I gotta do...

Ohhhhh boi that sucks !!! You just gotta fix it and send it mate ! The first scratch is always the worst. I will patch mine up soon, there seems to be no structual degradation, so thats very good. Will give it a complete new paintjob for next season, so its gonna come back to its shine and glory next year.

@@secretsquirrel1942 The boat itself was in 3 pieces. Yes retrieved everything that day and the next. Put everything into rice till it was dried out. Ordered a new hull, glassed all the weak areas in the hull. Reinstalled all the gear and running the hell out of it again. If your afraid of crashing your in the wrong hobby.

wud you consider 4s x2 and /or 4s x4 ...in ur experince?

Its 2x 6S for this run. The speed controllers are only rated for 6S per piece, so i cant go higher than that :)

@kiyomiswan48714 жыл бұрын
@@EmilWilkensRC oh no...it does, 2 technical utuber made it clear, that it can use 4s x2. but they didnt mention anything about 4s x4. so i did a dry test using 2 paralell adapters, works fine. i have noway to test or know if it will increase in speed. due to the fact it is using 14.8v x2 or 14.8v x4. have not found any utuber challenging this 4s x4 config, but imsure there is,just not seen it yet. seeing how daring ur channel is,is the reason im asking you. im abit of a chicken shit to do full out throttle, even tho i have set it up 4s x4 7200mah 80c. wud like to here ur opion on this or even a challenge video.

im trying to find out a straight up answer to this qs. "can miss geico handle 4s x4 80-100C". coz most what ive seen is 3s x4 50C. im actually more concerned about the max. "Cs" it is designed for so that i dont over do the "Cs". pls do share if you by chance do know or will later know, wud much appreciate that my friend.

it was hauling @ss perfectly at high speed. doesnt appear that the boat failed at all. consider ur buddy seems rite tho, body damages like that is mostlikely from hitting something hard...possibly a pretty good size turtle positioned aslike a ramp, tossed the boat airborne for a long @ss way. to me thats a badd@ss run man, cant predict nature.

I wish it was something in the water, but im not so sure... we dont have turtles in Denmark, so dont know what it might have been. Its going to be out again soon though.

@@EmilWilkensRC hey thanks for that interesting nature fact, i didnt know abouthat. anyways the video and experience you have withis situation isnt totally negative gain, coz from this i just learn a serious investment lesson,of corse at ur cost. seeing it crash like that (of a real world speedboat record setting landmark),was painful but allowed us to see true life n death sports challeges in rc scales minus human cost. this and many other similar crash video can teach us alot about taking the risk for the numbers...atlease for me anyways. thanks for sharing the actual footage. i think that i can say safely that most of us with high speed boats similar to urs can now see whats possible, even tho the lake seems so safe and well suited for ur challenge. i dont under estimate or now trust my lake surfaces anymore as i used to from this video.

I 've been dealing with bad water all year worse then this. I flipped the cheetah twice just like this, luckily its ok. A week later i said im going home (water was so bad) then i decided to run the zelos last minute. Zelos paid the price looks way worse then your boat......all while the zonda never left the back seat of my car. This is part of the reason why my zonda stayed on the shelf for a year because I know the end result. I have some parts if you need em.
