At one point, Logan found out his healing factor doesn't only heal physical truama, but mental trauma as well. Which in my opinion, made more sense to me than any other reason(s). I believe it was ret-conned though. Edit: (#77) Wait... Hugh Jackman didn't know that a wolverine was a real animal? Wtf?

If we absolutely had to pick a new guy to play Logan in the mcu, I would pick Richard Armitage. He has played someone short before (The Hobbit's Thorin Oakenshield). And he has been the voice for Logan in the past.

Sorry, you botched some facts. The idea of Sabretooth being Wolverine’s father was back in the 90s, years before Origin was released. So his real parents were never revealed when they had the Sabretooth idea. Also, Wolverine wouldn’t have known the difference anyway since he didn’t have his memory. I’m a nerd. Still like the video though, thanks for the effort.

While it would make more sense that a shorter actor play Wolverine (he's known for being diminutive, & is usually mocked for it) I don't think the next actor to portray him has to be 5'3". Of course I hope they don't choose an actor who's nearly a foot too tall to play him again, either (it's a bit absurd having co-stars wear platform shoes and/or stand on boxes so "the shortest male X-man" doesn't tower over them). I'd say cast someone between 5''3"-5''10". And just like w/ Hugh Jackman's casting, it could be a "relatively unknown" actor. Casting a tall Wolverine is akin to casting a short Colossus, the character's name & personality are tied to their heights. Colossus is "a gentle giant" while Wolverine's "a short savage".

The best wolverine for me was the 90s cartoon one. You really got the rage with cal Dodds performance, you heard the struggle in his voice at trying to keep his rage at bay. I'm going to get the angry fan boys in the comments for this but its something that's not been seen in the movies yet.
