I remember finding the Lincoln rifle while wondering high through the Capitol(me not my character 😂).... I think it was in his memorial but might have been a museum... Either way that weapon was a beast and could be repaired with a standard hunting rifle also it's degradation was very low.

I absolutely loved Fallout 3. In fact, I have started another play through on my Steam Deck, and I decided long before I was able to buy it that that was the first game I was going to play on it. I have loved wondering the wasteland again, and still feeling that sense of fear and dread, because no matter how many times I have played that game, when you are still fairly low level, things still kill you very easy. Very much enjoying it, and I look forward to jumping back into New Vegas when I am done as well.

One of my favourite games of all time. This and New Vegas should be remastered.

If I was on the board at Bethesda, I would make sure there is a way to complete the game without any NPCs, then I would eliminate essential NPCs. Anyone can die. It's just easier if some NPCs live.
