If we ever do get a playable Shield Knight that would be nice. Like maybe she fights through a cursed nightmare trying to free herself from the curse or an after shovel knight game where she can switch from shield knight to a enchantress version of herself but she's in control this time & then switch back making interesting gameplay options (I guess Zelda/Shiek inspired).. or you know just coop option with an amiibo would be nice.

It's awesome for us to able to Dig a new sequel , because I'm pretty sure the fan will Shove the dev for one P.S Shield Knight was under the Enchantress curse, and (spoilers) At the end of the main game, she was free alongside with the enchantress herself showing up as the final battle. So, technically Shield Knight cannot become Enchantress at all, since she was possessed

I always considered Plague Knight’s campaign to be sort of an alternate universe of sorts. In Plague of Shadows, Shovel Knight comes off as an asshole. Tea bagging you after killing you, leaving all the knights to rot after the boss rush, etc. Which is obviously not his character at all.

My absolute fav is definitely spectre of torment, spectre knight is super fun to play as and an absolute dream to control, I love the more parkour style movement, and the story is sooooooo good

I would actually love it if they first make a new game and come back to shovel knight later. I would like to see what they are capable of doing. Also specter knight is my favorite.

I love shovel knigh too :) I know a channel called "Brothers Theory Productions" They make awesome theories about games and movies alike. They already made 2 theories about Shovel Knight. I think you forgot to mention the character cameos featured in the PlayStation and Xbox versions of "Shovel Knight" - The PlayStation version features Kratos from "God Of War", and the Xbox version features Zitz, Rash, and Pimple from "Battletoads".

Fact 108: Shovel Knight was voiced by Sean Velasco in his cameo in Yooka-Lele. Fact 109: Many of the tracks from Specter of Torment are remixes of tracks from Shovel of Hope.

I think it would be great to have all the order of no quarter knights with their own games. (If you found any grammar error, i'm not american...) Treasure knight : His anchor would be an awesome mechanic, he could get through pits and pull enemies, it could also be useful to puzzles, like moving blocks, pulling levers etc... Mole Knight : Could make water boil and melt down stuff, could also put fire on things and have a great digging abillity, also, his body slam would be great to stun enemies. Tinker knight : This one would be great, because of his wrench and machines, he could make lots of things like floating plataforms, bombs that run onto enemies and explode (bob-ombs), and even robots where you can ride on them or make them shoot fireballs or something. Polar knight : Trap enemies in snowballs and dig ALOT, but it's still not really good, beacause of his huge size. Propeller knight : I don't even have to say, his propellers, swords, cannons, attitude, everything! I think all knights deserve a game... (Except for polar knight, he's too big and they'd have to remake the game all over again...)

108# fact - There is an Android version of the game released for Amazon TV Fire (or whatever it is called) that some people sideloaded it on a SD card creating an APK that you can install on EVERY Android device (but you need to have a controller to play it). It sucks that they didnt release it on Google App Store since Amazon paied for exclusivity for their TV thingie, becouse I could buy the crap out of it. Bonus fact - if you get that Android version on your Android phone, which is at this moment version 3.0, so no Kratos/Battle Toads, you can use the save file from your Steam or GoG version with the Android version. So for example you play lots of Shovel Knight on Steam. Than you need to go somewhere away from you PC, so you upload the save file to the Android version save file folder. Being away playing with your smarthphone (gamepad required) you can unlock more feats. Than when you are back you can upload the save file to your Steam folder and sync the feats with your steam account in the Feats option in Steam version of Shovel Knight!

If memory serves, I believe Yacht Club Games classes Plague Knight's Campaign as an "Alternate Timeline" which to me is a real shame because his story would have been great for the main timeline.

I see Plague of Shadows as an alternate story line. The ending is completely different to Shovel of Hope, as in the end Plague Knight and Mona become heroes who defeated Enchantress, not Shovel Knight. That also means that Shield Knight probably dies in this timeline.

Treasure Knight's design only resembles Big Daddies in so far as they both are wearing old-school diving suits. There are no unique details from Bioshock ported over to Treasure Knight, nor does the level contain any bioshock references that I can tell.

Spoilers I like how the three campaigns for Shovel Knight tell a complete story. My interpretation is you start with Specter Knight, who "recruits" the other seven knights. Once under the Enchantress, she bestows them with additional powers via her dark magic. Then in Plague of Shadows, Plague Knight goes around and defeats the other seven knights in order to collect this magic (The essences). During the same time, but slightly behind, you play Shovel of Hope, where Shovel Knight makes his way through the weakened Order of No Quarter (Thanks to Plague Knight).
