Interesting to see how the league has adapted to Julio and Ronald. i think the steady diet of inside fastballs and junk off the plate has taken advantage of both guys attack mind set this first month and half. For Julio when he does hit it hard it’s on the ground as well and he’s been missing the mistakes too. Hopefully this is the turn because the Ms need his offense in the worst way.

I think a lot of people are overreacting, could he play better? sure, but he's still hitting over .250 BA, which is I believe 2nd on the team behind Rojas (whose been awesome). Remember, he started the same way last year and his rookie year and right around this time is when he started picking it up, and both those seasons have resulted in "only" 2 all-star appearances, 2 silver slugger awards, rookie of the yr, top 5 in AL MVP voting, broke a 100 yr old hit record over a 4 game span, and damn near won the home run derby. Also btw, the dude is only 23! So yeah I say we go off his proven track record, rather than overreact to a small sample size especially when he's literally done the same thing the past two years.

Meh, game of adjustments. I think both Jrod and Acuna will be just fine... Julio always starts slow, hopefully he figures out a better off-season routine to hit the ground running better though

Would MLB stop using exit velocity on hits and HRs thinking that will draw more fan attention. No one cares how fast the ball left the park. It’s a HR and that’s it. You can’t make something more out of just an ordinary HR like you can do with a dunk in basketball or a football throw and spectacular catch or run in football. You just can’t. Now stop it!

I have never seen someone who has been more praised and had worse numbers than j rod and Bryce Harper. People and press are willing they to be better than they are. And I'm a mariner fan saying this. But j rods got to be consistent before he gets this kind of praise

Dude he's literally started the same way the past two years, and was actually worse both years at that same time, and look how those years turned out... The guy is only 23 and has been great at every level for a reason. Trust me, he will be just fine
