I love it! Some suggestions to keep the front end down are to fill the front tires with washer fluid or beat juice and fill some kind of container with lead BBs and stuff it up front in the nose of the frame. I think if you guys get the chassis dialed in where it's nice and drivable, then strongly consider engine mods.

Got the same quad at home, picked it up for nothing and got a new stock engine for it cheap. Wanted to go bigger but knew it needed a new frame to house something bigger then the 50cc. Saving this for when I get around to modding it.

My nephew has one of them, 49cc 2 stroke #25 chain all original and it is fast, for a kid. I told you about it in a previous post. We found it in a trunk of a car at the local junkyard.

I had one of these! Slightly different design though, it had "suspension" (single pivot swing arm front and rear). It had a 50cc 2 stroke engine, and would do wheelies with some prompting. I ended up stretching it by two feet, installing lights and a sound system, and a rack for a cooler. It lasted exactly ten minutes in that state before the clutch exploded.

Roller blade wheel wheelie bar. Or use wheels like on quad make a spring loaded tag axle with bump stops.

Cool to see a conversion like this done, I have a Cobra, I think it's a 100 or 150cc oil injected 2 stroke, it's a fun little bike extremely fast considering I'm around 200 lb and it pulls me perfectly fine. But there may become a time where we blow it up and we want to convert it, lol

Wheelie bar with tungsten carbide plates and a set of drag slicks. It will be a wheelie, spark throwing machine!!

Try make a LWB (long wheel base) on it. If you extent the wheelbase by maybe 6 inches to a foot then you won't be sitting right on the back wheels and you'd have more control for sure. It's look badass too

I recently bought a used ATF 50cc the frame is the same size is yours and since I bought it for my grandson I noticed when I looked at it the front tires are 20x8 x7 and back are 16x9.85 x8 and the guy told me he bought it with the front fenders cut off only leaving the start of the fenders and the center that covers the headlights and gas tank. The rear fenders are gone too. He couldn’t get it to start and the bowl of the carb was wet he through in a new carb with auto choke. I took it home changed the carb and noticed the one I took off was a Mikuni and I put the new made in Japan carb on taking his word. Then when he was trying to turn ignition on it was turning but was hard to turn on so I unplugged it and seen it was a 6 wire ignition with a male plug I just bought one 6 wire female plug since with a new plug I wasn’t getting spark. The ignition switch had the red and blue wire disconnected so I bought a new one. I took the seat off and dig out some wiring and first of all the guy told me it was a 50cc he told me it wasn’t electric start then before I left he said it might be a 90cc. When I took the seat off at home I pulled out positive and negative red and black wires and there is a tray under seat that may hold a 3” h by 2.75 deep and about 5” long and traced the red to the inside outer top to a 2.5 by 3.5” what looks like a starter. My question is the only writing on the crankcase reads HER CHE and the last letter maybe 2 are missing I’m trying to find out what is the make the crankcase is about 20” long and about 4” wide that’s the cover and it has a couple lines going across that stick out just a little part of the mold the name was on a painted silver rectangular with black writing HER CHE that’s all I can read the rest is missing! Someone tell me what make and what cc 50 or 90 he did say he had it going about 30mph. The tires are knobby but appear near no miles I paid 100 for it and if the ignition gets it going great! But if it doesn’t the tires and seat and suspension are good chain sprockets cables grips I could get much more parting it out. Please someone let me know anything about this engine. Thanks.

Raise the handlebars so you can straddle them, put some foot pegs in front of the front wheels, stretch rear end a bit, leave small front wheels with bigger back wheels to shift center of gravity forward.... that should make it fun!

Cool seeing this, been thinking about a project build using one of these Chinese quads. Repowered with something old school - an old Villiers engine, not high revers, but could be fun.

That is just crazy. How about a wheelie bar with a flat pad so much to would work well on grass or pavement. Also change the gearing with smaller sprocket on the rear will help tame the beast.

I vote y'all stretch the frame and try an make the a arm part of the frame longer. It would probably fix your wheelie problem or least make it manageable where u can still pop it but use all of your power band. It might also make it more stable, and be able to put the power down better.

U should extend the rear like a big drag atv. It would look sick and cute. Plus not as bad of wheelies.

I would love to see this again at the new shop with an extended swing arm.
