I just wanted to say, I relate deeply to the journey you've described with PCS, and it means a lot to me that you've shared your experience with brain trauma to your audience. Over the last few months, I've experienced physical and mental trauma that brought me to a place where I had to receive mental health treatment at a psychiatric hospital. Seeing you fully actualize your life and talk about the mental scars that you've been through has been a beacon of light to me over the last few months, as it gives me hope that I can come out of my trauma a stronger and more honest version of myself too. Omg, I loved that you recommended Kerstin Gier! She is my absolute fav author for comfort reads! I read all her YA books to my mom (some of them multiple times) and I very seldom see people talking about them who didn't read them in German. I always assumed that maybe the magic of her writing style gets a little lost in translation.

Another INFJ here. Also discovered we are weirdly similiar beside from the love of books I play the flute and have danced for most of my life especially ballet apart from the last year when I was injured but slowly starting to again. Also I love to write though I am never organised enough to finish anything I just wrote what's in my head at the time.

I would, then, HIGHLY recommend Clarice Lispector's books. she's even considered the most important jewish author alongside Kafka. her novels and short stories are so beautiful and so intense I couldn't describe them well enough here. they're not magical realism, but her words are equally magical. and also: YOUR SMILEEEEE!! YOU'RE SO PRECIOUS, YOU DESERVE ALL THE LOVE AND CARE IN THE WORLD

Your videos are really wholesome, sweet and easy to watch; not superficial but comfy. You look like one those friend one would like to have just to chat about random stuff and who is going to be there when one needs it. As a Colombian, we have great works of national literature, as you mention (I can give you some suggestions if you want), but probably Japanese or Argentinian Literature would have more variety. The most fitting answer for you may be French or Italian, as you know the languages, and their literary tradition is so rich, from Dante and Chrétien de Troyes to contemporary authors. Anyway, thanks for the video.

Do you like French films, especially the French New Wave era of the 50s & 60s? I heard you mention how much you love jazz (I do, too!) and one of my favorite scores is from jazz titan Miles Davis who scored the Louis Malle film Ascenseur pour l'échafaud. That first track is like slipping into a silk chemise, it's just so scintillating & cozy at the same time. The entire score is one I play over & over.

According to the online test, I'm an INFJ as well and I wouldn't show up at the party either. 😆 I love the way you talk about languages. I've always liked languages and my favourite ones to learn have been English and Latin. English has been a huge part of my everyday life for years now and I completely agree on the importance of that to learn a language really thoroughly and overcome your inhibitions. Plus it's much more fun than what you might do in class lol. But you didn't have to call me out on talking to myself. 😅😅😉 Also yes to the overly specific playlists, I can relate.

since you like south america's literature so much I would highly recommend you to read brazilian books, especially from jorge amado, he's a classic brazilian author and his books are so so amazing, his writing is so rich and poetic, he's the author of one of my favorite books ever, "captains of the sand". highly recommended.

I came across your channel a few days ago, and I love your videos! Je suis en train de tout binge watch. J'adore Anne Carson et quand j'ai vu que tu l'aimais aussi je me suis dit que j'allais adorer tes vidéos. And I was right. :D I love the cosiness and solace I find in them. I have read some things by Rilke but not enough and you make me want to read him again and more! I loved the quotes! Thinking about the limits of language is a passion too. I recently read The Letter of Lord Chandos by Hugo von Hofmannstahl, it was beautiful. Through Chandos he embodies a writer who lost the ability to write because the phenomenon of the world became too potent. You could like it if you haven't read it. :) Sinon la pumpkin pie a l'air délicieuse!! Mais là en France il fait 30°C, j'attends l'ambiance automnale avec impatience.
