Extend your range, increase pellet count, and maximize lethality with TSS (Tungsten Super Shot) turkey loads. This rare-earth metal combined with modern-shotshell design take performance to whatever level is past next level. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? You be the judge.

After spending more on tss and choke combos than any gun in my safe...I can say what is POSSIBLE is incredible. 400+ pellets in a 10" circle at 40 yd is RIDICULOUS but can be reproduced pretty simply. Was it worth the hundreds of dollars I poured into that chase? I'm not sure. Sure was fun though! BTW that incredible pattern(I) missed a bird at 40yd but killed the same bird with the same combo only days later at 12yd. I like to call him my Thousand Dolla Gobbla 😂😂😂

$10 dollars a shot?!! I haven't bought shells in a while but the last 3 turkey I killed was with pheasant loads. I think the whole box was around $15. They worked great out 35 yards .

I almost bought some of these……but the cost was OUTRAGEOUS. I will stick with my Winchester Super X turkey loads….havent failed me yet….and 30-40 bucks cheaper depending on where i find them.

Shot 12 ga 3.5” #4 2oz long beard xr for years (even when I was only 140lbs lol) and after shooting 20 gauge #9 tss in like a 5lb single shot I don’t think I’ll ever look back it’s small handy lightweight and easily outshoots any 12 with non tss I’ve seen side by side

@@VortexNation Definitely should do one on 28. 12 and 20 are too common, 410 is meh. 16 is just an in between 20 and 12. Never seen a 28 gun but seen a lot of ammo

I would like to try TSS on Turkey, however I can not justify spending $10 per shot. I have had very good luck with Winchester XR turkey loads. Even with the increased ammo cost the cost per shot is about $2.50. per shot.

I have 3 or 4 videos on my channel to prove you correct haha LBXR are still relevant. TSS definitely take it to another level though. For some people...might be worth it.

All these whiz bang chokes and loads are for guys who can’t call and get birds in close. I’ve never shot a turkey over 26yds. But I still use the high dollar whiz bang chokes and TSS loads too 😂 used BOSS Tom #7 out of my 12 and 20ga to kill my last two birds. And I just picked up a Stevens 301 .410 and some TSS loads for this year, after I kill one with my 16ga.

Same😂😂I love getting a bird in close but can’t feel like I’m not using the best loads. I think the tss is more cost effective in the 20 and especially the .410. For the money it’s hard to beat a box of 3.5 inch long beards with a good choke in 12 gauge to me. But I have my tss for the days I anticipate field turkeys😂

I would like to see a 10 min. Talk on 16 gauge. All the old timers used it bird hunting and I take grandpa's sweet 16 out every year dove hunting and killed my first deer with it. Very enjoyable to shoot why did it fall out of favor so quickly.

I think the 20 gauge with modern loadings took over what the 16 was used for. My old 16 gauge Ithaca that’s been in the family for a long time still might be my favorite shotgun.

When trap and Skeet became popular, after we lost most of our upland birds, they didn’t have 16 gauge divisions. I’ve never found a good answer WHY that happened, but that did irreparable damage to the 16. Which is a big shame still my favorite gauge

TSS is an initialism because you pronounce the name of each letter. NASA and LASER are acronyms because you pronounce them as words.

I'll tell you one thing - if turkey isn't your primary quarry, so you shoot these out of your 5-1/2 pound 20ga grouse and rabbit gun, that is...unpleasant on the shoulder, LOL.

You lost me at $10 per shot. Lol. It’s for a turkey, not elephants or targets at 1.5 miles. 3.5” federal 5 shot lead works fine for me. Took a tom at 65 yards once. I think that’s more than enough.
