It's a great thing to try for electrical. They made such a good modification but the statement what they mentioned is wrong. The dynamo is taking power from the vehicle while going.ita again consuming power from the battery to rotate the dynamo. Simply what u said is violation of law of conservation of energy. General physics law is input never equals to output and efficiency is never be 100%.the batteries need to changed or charged that's compulsory

Good guys at a small age you have shown a success in exhibiting a practical project which even aged persons are not capable, with the same team spirit improve your project. You must have understood that this is not practical as per Laws of Physics but you can make this project in the view of efficiency, if your current target is 100km for one charge aim for 500 km, by studying on Motor types, ways to increase battery efficiency you could reach it. Money is really not a problem allocate time to study regarding laws of Physics like addressing ways to reduce friction and other losses; electronics study for charging and discharging; Google is the thing that will help you be positive; You may not do Perpetual machine but your team has abilities and guts to do SEMI-Perpetual machine. Gud concept but go through the below points.. Not possible without charging battery by external source over period time. bcoz the efficiency of dynamos are very less we can consider 75% at max RPM. And 0% at min rpm. Where as BLDC motor 70% so how it ll mach the charging ratio. Note to run dynamo even BLDC motor has to bare some load on it resulting some more o/p efficiency loss on BLDC motor. More importantly dynamo cont generate constant Voltage and Current so we has to use DC to DC voltage and current buck and Booster circuit even this ckt conversion efficiency is less then 60%. Conclusion :- We can do above logic but over period of time we have to charge the battery by external power source..
