Easy way: If r=0 a= 6q is divisible by 2 If r=1 a= 6q+1 is not divisible by 2( odd) If r= 2 a= 6q+2 divisible by 2 If r= 3 a= 6q+3 not divisible by 2 ( odd) You can do further bcoz I am lazy
