It has been really interesting watching these new silos go up, they are not used in our area so I had never watched one being built before. Having said that I know for sure I am going to really enjoy phase two, full automation! Thank you for taking us along on your journey.

It’s amazing how much the latitudes make a difference. Here in north Alabama, the latitude is 34.75 degrees north roughly. Our corn is already tasseled out. Obviously we get warmer than up north earlier in the year. We’ve had a lot of rain. I hope all the farmers are blessed with rain. For a great growing season !

I'm so impressed with the new silos. You guys have come a long way since I first started following you. Very wholesome viewing. God Bless you and your family.

The challenges and improvements seem endless like your energy. I put on my 10thGeneration T-shirt on the days I'm working hard, just for inspiration. Still impressed with the cycles you manage as a dairyman and farmer. Another fine vid, thanks

We had a 2x6 fishbone/herringbone parlour which was really good. Especially if you had a new "hot-headed" heifer coming in for the first time, the older cows would basically squeeze her into place preventing her from starting tap-dancing. The only problem was that we had to attach the milkers from the side and not the back like you do. If a cow started to kick it would be easier for her to get the hoses tangled up. So if someone is building a parlour, make sure you attach from behind and not the side

Thanks for the in-depth look of the milking parlor! I've seen several parlors and noticed differences, but not understood what those differences are or why one may be better than another. Thanks for your explanations!

"We don't like manual labor around here"!🤣🤣🤣 Dairy farms have a totally different standard for what manual labor is! 🤣 Great video, and getting the falling silage to vent is going to be interesting when it's dropping over 100'!

It's very interesting watching your updates to the farm. The storm water management will pay for itself in no time with just housekeeping around the barns. Walking through the mud from barn to barn is a pain... Excited to see the progress as you develop your site.

? ?? ? ! ! ? Wash cups ? ? Indexing entering cows ? ? ?? !!!!! ! You are so smart !! I must have been sleeping when you talked about post milking processes. Eric, I continue to be blown away by all you do and how well you and your dad work together. I was getting pumped about the new silos not realizing the every day, day after day after day, those cows needs MUST be attended to, both in the fields, in the barn and polar. Following you, I have thought I would not do well with the demands of the repetition of being a dairy farmer, especially milking the cows, TWICE a day. Mamma Mia! Seems to me you do your life with the love of God in you. I think you live you life "rightly" as we Quakers say. I tell you this while knowing you do fart like the rest of the children of God. I am glad I am subscribed to you. xo Claire

I’m a big user of stretchwrap. Exceptional for bundling lumber or firewood for example. Excellent mock up and cover for your temporary conveyor. Being raised on a dairy farm in the 60s and 70s everything was held together with bailing twine.😂

Hello my is Ralph Ellsworth Jr from Erie,Pa. One thing I like to say, you guy's take a lot of Incentive in taking care of your cows and keeping your milking parlor very clean and your cows udders very clean to. You don't see that in a lot of farmers. Give your farm a 100% thumbs up. And glad to see in work good with your father, God Bless

I owned 2 skid steers. Next time get some roofing metal, make a slide, take 1/4 bucket, dump on the slide, saves shoveling. Keep the frame work and roof metal 4 other jobs.

you should run a heavy rear mount cultivator and have fertilizer tip on front sweep and put 28 along corn and your corn will with stand strong winds.

Looking at your sprayer, is it possible to put replaceable extenders on the down tubes that run on the ground regardless of your height adjustment, keeping it always below the corn and saving the current tubes in place?
