clever to use those long loop tee handle closers. Much better than nuts and bolts that you might easily drop and lose in the feed

Cows are cute lol ur lucky to work with them... I had 6 I was raising for beef corn my friends and family a few years ago it turned into to much work we got 1 left that turned into a pet for the kids she lives with the horses and goats now .... pets.. kids ugh work for me but what ever!

Megan must be a good employee. She’s been in your videos as long as I remember. Usually when an employee lasts the managers are good too. Jus gave our milkers raises. It’s always worth it.

Over in America it looks like a lot more relaxed easy style of farming compared to here in Ireland over here we do be beating and roaring at the cattle I like the way ye do it

Trust me us american farmers have some stubborn cows you have to beat to move. I'm sure he just does not want to show that on youtube the video might get taken down or a bunch of people in his comment section would be mad that we beat cows.

I really enjoy your videos; reminds me of my teenage years raising Brahman cattle with my dad. It also reminds me of an old truism; you can be lazy or you can be a farmer, but you can’t be both. Thanks for your efforts and enjoy this great time of life with your family!

I remember the days when we used to scoop the tmr from a cart into the trough in our tie stall barn. It was a happy day when our cart showed up too. Cut our feeding time in half.

I always enjoy watching the calves run and jump in the freshly laid bedding, so when they did not do that today, I was a bit disappointed. Maybe they were just not feeling it this time! 🐮😂

1:55 "These blue silos are kind of a pain." That's putting it mildly.😊 We got J&J Silo from your area to convert ours to a top unloader. It makes a little more work every time we fill but it's SO much faster and cheaper to run. Exciting to see the new heifer getting built.👍

Pit looks good. When looking at the concrete any cracks more than credit card width wide and over half way through the concrete I make the concrete crew patch. What I saw looked very nice!

I can't even begin to imagine the amount of pride you must feel to wake up every morning, being able to see everything that you and your family have created over 10 generations (now 11 🙂). I have a machine with four of those high capacity batteries also, and have replaced them twice. I can only recommend to keep the water levels up and keep the batteries fully charged if you can. I had a drain in one of my electrical control units so I unplug it now when not in use and has solved the problem for me.

we used to use something called i think its Zinc Sulphate Heptahydrate in our footbaths along with the copper and formaldehyde it supposed to improve hoof hardness

What a good idea to “walk” the feed between the farms to feed out enough to keep it fresh....around my neck of the woods anyone walking with a cart is either homeless or walking with a food cart.😄
