I have written this very same comment in every PayPal video. Maybe they will get it one day. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OPERATING CASHFLOW AND NET INCOME STEMS FROM STOCK BASED COMPENSATION. So it is the profit margin that you should be looking at in this case, since the roughly 1.3b they spend in stock-based comp doesn't come your way. Also: your analyzer assumes that 100% of the cashflows/profits are distributed to the shareholder, when in reality they only distribute 40% of cashflows on average.

@@waseemmalik3281 In my view, there are better opportunities out there. PayPal's pre-pandemic profit margins were consistently around 14% and they say they plan on continuing to deploy 75% of them to buy back shares. If both things were to hold over the next decade, assuming a terminal multiple of 17 and discounting at 10%, they would have to grow revenue 10% per year in order to justify a valuation in the mid-70s, which is certainly doable (they were growing 15-20% per year with the expception of 2022) but I am not willing to bet on that given how competitive the space is.

@@mathewwilson9776 I mean you have to look outside the US. Paypal is one of the only good options that you can use currently to online shop with ease. I'm sure the US has more providers but anyways which of the stocks you think is worth it right now? I think Microsoft is one of them now hopefully they will implement ChatGTP in their software which would have a big impact on the shares in my opinion

PayPal will always be my goto, they have refunded me in the few issues I've had. No one else does that.

Yeah and in the mantime they rip you off by crazy high fees and very bad conversion rates. Since Revolut entered EU I deleted my Paypal. Revolut spot FX rates and free transactions.

@@Cap_management Revolut doesn't offer the same service as PayPal, it's just a payment service. Also your deposits are not covered by the deposit protection scheme and you can't transfer money to places like Degiro from Revolut because they use a cheap service payment scheme. If you want cheap cheap payment service then you're in the right place.

Absolute value would be if everything went up the the stock price. Increasing debt? Falling earnings and cash flow? Not a value play.

Any thoughts on Paypal’s statement about their proposed user agreement where they were considering fining users based on their social media accounts? I was a Paypal customer for many years but chose to leave at that point. It was too massive of an overreach for me to consider staying.

When I see earnings way below free cash flow at an internet company, it’s a red flag to me because it suggests outrageous stock based compensation. If it’s a physical asset business I can chalk it up to capital expenditures instead.

Thanks to Paul, Myself Jag an immigrant in H1B made 240K from Meta just by following Paul, I always appreciate what Paul is doing, I put a little amount at Meta when it's was $250 then added more when it went below $100, then added boat loan when it went below $90, sold all at $240.. I am just targeting to make 1 million so that I can apply for Green Card on EB5 which needs 1 million. Wish me luck , my target is to reach in 3 years. Thank you Paul. It's on people what he is saying doesn't matter, what you're going to do with all the info that matters the most.

These guys by the time they buy anything.. Stock Market wont matter.. They dont factor in market sentiment.. They will get into the market when Stock market dont matter..
