No mainly people have been screwed over by the storage industry and I want to complain about it. I'm sure there must be some sort of storage Enthusiast out there but I haven't met them

I had a storage unit for 3 year's hell paying for it we took everything out last January I may need another one I hope not but I do what I have to do

spent a couple of months renting at Extra Space Storage until they terminated my ability to do so. They didn't seem to like me coming onto the property You grab my work equipment. I was treated Beyond poorly. By the staff there and then, after I complained above their heads, I was treated unfathomably rudely. By the regional manager, who called me To let me know. Get my complaints meant nothing because He sides with his staff when It comes to he-said-she-said situations. It's been a couple of years since I was a customer. But I still remember it clear as day because it's the absolute worst experience I've ever had dealing with a business as a customer. . You people should be ashamed of yourselves. . My location was the 45th Street. And I-35 location in Austin, Texas, and I will never forget it and I will never ever stop telling people about it. You have a systemic problem. From the top down. But after reading up on the industry. , I'm finding that that sort of treatment tends to be the norm. Rather than the exception. I think that can change. And I've considered getting involve myself to Inspire such change from a customer starting point. I just may do that and I know exactly where I would start.

Shouldn't you be able to access your storage unit as many times as you want? That's crazy to think they didn't like that. This concerns me as I'm about to rent a unit to store ebay inventory which I will frequent to pick up items that sold almost every day.

@@sgtouring do not do it man if you can store your stuff anywhere other than a storage unit do it. I think the industry as a whole has some serious problems and some serious problem people involved. I've run into nothing but trouble and I've been to three different storage places in about 3 years. I suggest against extra space, Public Storage, and Morningside storage. But I think Morningside storage is more a problem of the particular person that I was dealing with and not company as a whole. But nevertheless see if you are planning on accessing your stuff and a regular basis, get ready for hard push back. I would really suggest finding another possibility if you can.

I was told from an Extra Space Storage employee that no units have lights or access to electricity is this correct? CubeSmart does.

10 x 20...(5 bedroom house). Oh good lord!!! No it won't!!!! Look at that space and tell me...where will the washer and dryer, dining room set, kitchen table set, love seat, entertainment center, the actual 70+ boxes, and the other bedrooms go?? Not to mention pictures, frames from beds....geesh

Correct. I own a moving company and in my experience this is not for a 5BR-house. For a 5BR house professionally loaded you'd require a 10x30, plus probably a 10x5 for garage & outdoor items. A 10x20 might fit a 2BR townhouse, or condo with unfinished basement.

@@billyhartman1616 Sounds about right. I moved out of my 2b2b and moved everything into a 10x20. I could get by with a 10x15 but I'd rather pay a bit extra to not have everything stacked to the ceiling.
