Interesting to observe the use of cool and warm colours. The view outside looks interesting. Shame to be indoors. I agree about photographs ... the death of observation. Great video.

Bonnard, same as Vuillard, worked with photographs. Not all the time, but specially for painting his wife in the tub. Very few people know it.

You are so good at looking at images and to communicate in a direct way what experience can be. Thats also Why I think that true experience always also has memory and even a bit of Imagination - as you quote “a whole Day goes into the moment” - and I am curious what kind of colors did you use? Was it oil? And what brand do you prefer? And do you use any medium? Thank you for all your inspiration on youtube

my wife hates me. i used this video to make a painting. hopefully, she will call off the divorce when i gove it to her. wish me luck!
