Silvanya Withlock I've heard this maybelline foundation is comparable to estee lauder double wear (I think it's called) foundation. I just got some today and I am so excited to try it!

The Cutts Family definitely not. I love the Estée Lauder Double Wear and the Maybelline Superstay is nice but they're pretty different. The Double Wear is satin/matte and wearable on its own for dry skin. The Superstay is SUPER matte and dying and needs to mixed for dry skin. The coverage is similar though.

The Cutts Family Rimmel Lasting Finish (red packaging) is more comparable to the Double Wear but it's being discontinued for a new version (gray packaging) but some stores still have it.

imo, sometimes it's better to just get one expensive, highend product than many cheap ones which you don't really like. it may be cheap but it adds up if you buy a lot. (btw, i mean in general, and not specifically to you! just that i see a lot of comments preferring cheaper products for the sake of being able to buy more makeup with their savings when in the long run, it makes them spend more because they keep searching for their holy grail, cheap product)

Sher Maine I disagree. One time I splurged on NARS and the formula SUCKED. I had been wearing wet n wild photofocus foundation before I picked the NARS illuminating foundation, guess what... I went back to wet n wild. This was feb 2017 and I haven’t looked back.

Although I am a lot older than you....a mature woman of 59, I was looking for a video on full coverage foundation, and heard about this Maybelline foundation, and was elated to see your video. Thank you so much. You have really helped me decide. Realizing of course that applying foundation on mature face versus your young beautiful skin will be different...what I needed to see was the coverage...and your video answered many of my questions. I live on a very low budget....I am thankful that I get any income at but I am limited to what I can spend on makeup. Being that the Maybelline is a lot cheaper I needed to see the coverage and your video was very informative for me. I will continue to watch your videos....i enjoy your sense of humor! My fav foundation now is probably the Clinique Anti-Blemish foundation. For me that have so much imperfections and rednesses left by blemishes is perfect because it's really anti-blemish!!!!! It's amazing how the night I remove the make up and the imperfections are less notable or disappeared.

I think with the foundations being so similar on application a wear test would've been more important - I think quite often it is the wear that separates high end foundations and drug store foundations that seem good on application.

Trinady Manke I have dry skin, but it gets very oily when wearing makeup during the day (but remains very dry without it) and this still lasts me up to eleven hours with just one t-zone repowder. The revlon colorstay lasts me up to six hours so if you've tried that, there's a reference point, also the true match lasts me four on average. Obviously I don't get quite as slippery as oily skin but foundation lasting is a problem I have and this performed beautifully, and also feels like nothing when you wear it. I agree though, definitely needs to ake a book out of beauty gurus like tati and do a wear test.

Girl my holy, holy grail is the maybelline fit me matte and poreless foundation. It just works so well with my skin and its a perfect perfect match for me and i mean it’s just so affordable you can’t really beat it :)) I’ll have to try this foundation though, also winter wonder week is my favourite week all year, it’s the best I mean a video everyday from Nikkie is the best thing that could ever happen!

I am also in love with maybelline. But fit me is meant for natural look and medium covergae andthe superstay one gives full covergae and specially designed for oily skin. Every full coverage foundation does oxidize even if it is Huda beauty. So just select a shade that is one or two tones lighter than your foundation, it will oxidize within a few minutes and match your skin tone perfectly.
