Another amazing tutorial Terry! I could be classified a "newborn" beginner if that term ever existed! I have never used ANY type of program and am diving right into this one to create a company newsletter. Already an expert note taker, I so loved your recap at the end because this enabled me to add titles to my notes, ha! Thank you!

I'm back and want to learn again and learn more of Adobe Indesign. This was a great video! one interesting function I can not get working. Maybe it is taken away now 2021. It was Adobe Indesign Component Information. It was that you could se how many time it had been saved and so on.

Hi Terry, Big fan of your channel, first time commenting. I was wondering if you could do a video on uploading data to mail merge in InDesign? Sounds like it should be easy, but I'm not having the best of luck with it. Thanks for all you do!

Hi, Terry! Thanks for sharing! Question: My MacBook Pro 2019 64 g ram, i9,uses over 100% cpu most of the time when using in design, version 17, nov 2021. I have tried out some of the advices online, also from adobe, but no solutions so far. One commented that adobe knows the issue, and are working on it. What is your thoughts about this issue?

Have two problems which appear to be from the last update. First I want to put a coloured layer under the typing I have on a second layer. I have always been able to do this with no problem just by stacking the layers. No matter how I try cannot get this to work. So then I tried putting both on the same layer and using arrange send colour to the back typing to the front same results. Won't work. The other is numbered lists. Have always been able to set either to continue numbering or to start over. Today if I stay within the same text frame will continue numbering from previous or I can say start over and works as usual. If I have another text box which I often do under illustrations even when I have set to continue from previous number it goes back to #1. Have found a ridiculous work around but I am finding this extremely frustrating. Any idea what is going on?

I am an indesign user. I want to know about some thing which I can't able to do in indesign CS6. Can we apply Gradient in "Square" , "Conical" and "Elliptical" type in indesign? In the Coral draw, we can able to do the Gradient in Linear, Radial, Square and Conical Mode. But in indesign only two modes are given i.e. Linear and Radial. How can it be possible in indesign CS6 to apply Gradient in "Square" , "Conical" and "Elliptical" mode?

Hey Terry, I am having a problem with my Greyscale images I am importing from Photoshop into Indesign. They are turning out much much darker in InDesign for some reason! How do I set Indesign for a grayscale book, where the images look like they really are in photoshop???? It's driving me crazy

What am I doing wrong? I cant get "gridify" to work. When I have the circle selected, the arrow keys only move that individual circle; they do not duplicate them. Is it because I'm using one of apple's mini keyboards?
@tinaneil76123 жыл бұрын
I cannot get this to work and I don't know what I am doing wrong. If I could get this to work, it would save me hours of formatting. I've called tech support for Adobe and they did a screen share and couldn't figure it out. I love this feature.

how when you made the circles they were not in touch with each other ..there was a distance between them 20:00

he started to draw 1 giant circle, before he let his mouse stop drawing, he used his other hand to push the up arrow and right arrows on his keyboard. that divided the big one into spaced out little ones.

If I have a book already in paperback form, can i just scan it into InDesign to make an ePUB ebook?
@TerryLeeWhite5 жыл бұрын
Poetic GEEnetiks Tv while technically that would work it would yield poor results as every page would just be a big image with no text searching or selecting.
@poeticgeenetikstv46725 жыл бұрын
How should I remedy that....Can I use the auto fit templates

@@poeticgeenetikstv4672 scan it and convert the text to text via OCR. Then relayout the book in InDesign for best results.
