My 11 day old baby Branson woke up in his car seat when we arrived at the coffee shop. Usually, babies hold it until you get them out of the car seat and then they need to go pee and/or poop. He cries a little in the beginning because that's the only communication he knows so far! It also feels weird to pee at first, but does not hurt. After I feed him, he'll probably need to go again about 10 minutes after. I don't try for every pee, but this definitely helps him get a full feed, and be relaxed and comfortable while we're out and about!

My newborn is 10 days old, and we tried EC for the first time yesterday and caught three poops and five pees and one pee this morning already. I cannot believe how incredible this is. Thank you for sharing! I can’t wait to dive into your book, and learn more!

Once you start EC it just makes common sense and you wonder, "Why didn't I think to do it sooner?" We attend to all other newborn needs immediately but somehow we thought they wouldn't feel uncomfortable to poop their pants multiple times every day.🤷🏼‍♀️😂 Thanks for helping others like me learn about this.

I still firmly believe in this and the familiarity of the toliet, but I do just want to say my 2.5 year old still has accidents pretty much daily and we did this from birth... I don't want anyone to have the expectation that this will work to always communicate potty needs. We do it with my son still and he is 8 months. No regrets!

If your 2.5 yr old is still having accident daily, you will definitely want to consider making some changes, that will encourage him to do more of it himself - rather than waiting for external sources to tell him when to use the potty! @@AndreaOlson I meant my 2.5 daughter. I will check it out because we do tell her when to go try. We are still fully committed with our second child, 8 month old son.

My daughter was potty trained until she spent a few hours at grandparents’ house for a few hours without me 😭 Time to train the ‘rents 😂

Today we had our first successful elimination and pee over the potty at just two weeks old, following your videos and holding your baby in just the same way ! Saved me a diaper :) thanks again for what you do
