11 days building a dugout shelter, bush cabin, solo overnight, Autumn - Winter

Many times I have been asked how long it takes to build these dugouts. This was my first shelter in the woods and it took me 11 days to build. If you count the breaks between visits, too, it must have been two months. You have to take into account the speed of the work and the distance of the location. I never rush and enjoy the moment.
I never finished the dugout because of the difficult situation in the country. I hope you will be able to relax and rest. Enjoy watching it all.

Many people like to stay at home listening to the blizzard, and I get ready and go for a walk in the blizzard. Wandering alone, sometimes people are homeless, I'm on the street 😀 but I still like it, especially blizzards.

必要最低限の道具だけでみごとに丸太小屋組み上げたのには驚きました。お疲れ様ですストーブ（オーブン？）に関しては試行錯誤のすえ３台目で無事実用可能になったみたいで何よりです。斧に関してはケガしないかとヒヤヒヤして見てましたがさすが熟練されてるみたいで安全作業に関心しました。

Why did you decide to not use thick mud on the roof? Was there no moss near by? Those are what l see most witha layer of dirt between. Good to see other's ideas tho.

The thick mud that could be used on the roof is clay. I don't have any, just sand.

😭😭😭 I wish I had sand to dig through! My shelter build is starting out really rough. My property is full of roots, rocks, mud, clay. I can’t put a shovel in the ground anywhere without hitting rocks. Nice job!

you can finish your project with a nice little bed but you need to clean the surface inside so you’ll be comfortable, I like your wood stove!

I love the nature but I would be so scared to sleep like that in an open tent and all by myself 😬😬😰😰 Even when my hubby and I go camping I'm scared the whole night 🤣🤣🤣 except when I'm a sleep of course then I don't know what's going on around me! 🤣🤣There is something about dark woods it scares the ish out of me!

I’m not understanding where the wood stove is serving any purpose other than food cooking…which you are already doing outside! What is the temp difference inside to outside? You’re still wearing lots of layers of clothing! The wood fire inside is supposed to make the inside temps more comfortable…thus, the stove. It doesn’t seem to be working right. Are there drafts you just haven’t fixed yet? 1:39:34
