Your so strong to have gone through this surgery and it takes bravery to make a video talking so openly about it. I love you

Your experience is depressing. I’m going through it now day 3. First day went in at 10:30 surgery was at 12:30 . Prepping me before hand. I remember the anesthesiologist.coming in my room with a needle with something in it. I asked what’s that she said something to make you relaxed. She put I in my IV and next I know I was waking up in my room later. It was about 3:30 pm and I felt great afterwards I got up got dressed and said I’m ready to go. That all happened Wednesday it’s now Friday. Thursday and today my stomach is hurting with pain. I’m hunched over holding my stomach my belly button hurts the worse that’s where they removed my gallbladder with stones. I haven’t had a bowel yet. Eating soft foods drinking lots of water. My eyesight looks blurry too. I do feel miserable. Hope you’re getting better I pray I’m better also soon. Lastly I’m not a back sleeper at all but am forced to sleep on my back. Very uncomfortable and not able to rest. I love coffee and drank yesterday and today gave me an upset stomach with pain. So I drank spring water room temp and ate a banana and that settled my stomach.. Hope all gets better for both of us

I know I had my gallbladder surgery 3 weeks ago and regretted it ever since but now am starting to feel a bit better hopefully you will feel better soon be careful what you eat it’s all the air that is pumped into your stomach that causes all the pain.

Yesterday was my day 11 too..my experience was so similar. The doctor was really kind to me tho, and checked on me a lot after, if it wasn't for having a doctor like her I wouldn't have gone through with it at all. My moods have been all over the place too. I want to do the things I can't do yet and I know I just need to be patient. It's very difficult. I had the constant gb ache also before and now I feel the empty hole feeling too. That's one of the sad feelings im struggling with. I hope I feel so much better soon 🙏

with a faulty gall bladder an attach can hit out of the blue. so there is that disruption and uncertainty. if a gall bladder goes bad quickly, it can go gangrene and make you septic and kill you. then there is a possibility that trying to cure it may not work or take too long and make your quality of life bad in teh meantime.

I am on day 14 and my biggest issue on and off has been my breathing. I have asthma and I’m not sure if that’s being a factor but it sucks. As far as eating I’ve stuck to mostly healthy and soft foods like soup, non dairy mac n cheese, toast, veggies etc I had some chicken tenders & mashed potatoes from Culvers about a week ago and it went okay… I had Chinese chow mein about 3 days ago and felt pretty nauseous.

I just got mine removed 4days ago and I’m not able to sleep. The drs said I could eat anything but I tried eating rice and and keep burping when dozing off to sleep, the gallbladder area feels empty I keep getting fever, sweating all night and even though I feel sleepy my burping won’t let me. I’m still thinking if it was a good idea taking it off☹️😔

@@miriamquansah4994 your doctor really said that?..My doctor told me veggies broth and non fatty foods for a month I'm on my 10th day and I still have bloating after pretty much everything I eat but I haven't eaten anything greasy...I've been living off of chicken rice soup and sandwiches with whole grain bread and turkey brest but glad you're doing so much better....God bless you
