Yes, and/yet (not all) essential basics won’t last you 10 years. Not that you promise that, but I feel like so many brands trying to sell it that these type of items will never go out of style but unfortunately they will. So just keep in mind when buying new stuff to try to strive for these “essentials”.

I've never owned a blazer and i never will. And i refuse to get on the long denim skirt trend. But otherwise, yes to every one! I add a blue striped button down and a black leather jacket.

I’m afraid they will 😅 I wear trench coat since forever. I wear white t-shirt/ white shirt since forever. A good pair of jeans of course. I love everything navy striped so that’s there too.. and literally all the 11 items are in my wardrobe- nothing new here. That’s exactly why Lydia calls them forever BASICS- rightly so. If you want to look stylish AND fashionable/ trendy all the time, buy these basics in a classic shape that suits you and you can always add accessories in the trend colours (scarves… etc).
