Should I immigrate to Canada? That’s the million rand question. What if you could look 20 years into the future and see if immigrating was the right thing to do?
I’m Christi in Calgary, and that’s the question I'm going to answer. I am proud to be South African, but am also now a proud Canadian. As a teen, I saw the remarkable journey my parents made for our family, and I’ve lived through major milestones in both countries.

Very cool to see this. We moved to Calgary from SA 1 year ago. Im planning on doing the same sort of thing, so its nice to see how receptive everyone is. You could have kept both videos as 1, I personally am happy to watch a 20min video, especially if its interesting! Good job!

I enjoyed both of your segments. Well researched and explained. You must have been in Canada for a while because you have a hybrid accent which is nice to listen to. Looking forward to future vlogs!

Canadians are very patriotic and there are a lot of pride in all of us, we just tend to not be as expressive or braggy like our American cousins to the south unless it's Canada Day, there's a war that we're participating in or at international sporting events.

Eks trots Afrikaans. Hier in KZN is dit moeilik maar lekker. Eks lief vir die wetters hier selfs die Zulu gemeenskap. Ons gaan uitsterf in minder as 3 generasies.
