I wish every game would do this! Pokémon Arceus would do this so long as you didn’t craft in the field from your little field craft kit. Any bench pulled from inventory and storage and I thought it was game changing. Going from that to this when I was so worried about inventory management is just 👌

I think that since you're able to water up to eight tiles at once, you should be able to plant seeds eight tiles at a time as well.

The one thing that threw me early game was forgetting to select quests, sometimes events don't progress unless you have the correct quest selected. I'd ended up buying a cooker from the store and making crackers for the Foodception quest and wondering why Mickey wasn't visiting. The other big thing I found was that you don't need food or items in your inventory to cook/craft, as long as they are in a chest it is fine, you only need things in your inventory if you need to give them to other characters, so I ended up putting a chest or 2 in every biome and sticking the foraging into there..

I found that if you are hanging out with a character and get rid of night thorns, you also get friendship stars.

when you cook food at remi's you can drop the food on the kitchen floor and just teleport in, eat it, drop it, and go back to playing 🤪

Fun fact: You can soft lock quests. I did this on the Scrooge quest to make him planters. I made them accidentally before he told me to and now I can’t finish the quest, so BE AWARE.

@@victoriastemp6883 FYI, I also had issues with the first Friendship quest for Mickey, where after you get the wheat and apples he says he’ll meet you at your house. I just had to keep talking him and entering my house until it worked. Great game but needs some work, glad I got it through Game Pass.

I had the same problem. But I made like 6 in total or something . And then I could finish it. I think u need “fresh» materials . Get all new materials when u got the quest . Gl

So what I realized is once you take on more than one quest or if you did something before , all you would have to do is go to the quest option choose the one you want to follow so that you don’t miss out on anything ..press the + key on your switch joy con and that should bring you to your dream light collection, map and Quest, look at the option for quest and there you can chose which quest to focus on and have more control of the game instead of wasting time trying to figure out why it’s not working

Make one chest, place it in your inventory and then buy up to 25 chests per day from Scrooge McDuck. Resource saver for sure.

thank you for this video!!!! so helpful!! I discovered the Well teleportation hack myself to save time on moving locations. but wasted efforts overdoing things that weren't being counted towards Dreamlight. e.g. selling all my fish before that duty came up, and then I had to fish for more fish. I definitely need to get moana's boat!!! that seems like an amazing resource!

Heads up for console players though 270 crops made my game lag(we’re still in early release after all) So if you are on console do not try to be a farming emperor like lily just yet.

@@ezlilyy actually just finished growing my first batch of pumpkins right now, so I can believe that, for me the crop that lagged me the most was tomatoes. My peaceful meadow has become my grove and farm, my plaza is set up so there’s a big empty area for whatever decorations I want, been on vacation this week so I’m loving the peacefulness of it.

Oh also, I think that the more companions you have trained in a stat the better it is and the more likely the bonus stuff happens I have 6 people almost maxed out in friendship that are gardening, out of 270 pumpkins I made around 380,000 thanks to bonuses. Sometimes dropping 5 pumpkins at a time

alot more issues on switch than the laptop. My switch has crashed at least 6 times so far since playing it so i suggest the laptop if you are going to spend the money and wait for the free release next year to get it on the switch. This is just my opinion but i know several people who has chosen the pc version over the switch because of the performance issues.

Your accent and voice are incredibly soothing. I literally bought the game days ago and haven’t even opened it because I haven’t had the time but it was on sale. I started watching: listening to videos about it to get a better handle on it before I started but I’ve become hooked to listening to your channel the most. Never do any professions except for farming/mining, those are by far the easiest to level (maybe have 1 gatherer) and most valuable. You will very rarely use any except those 2.

So many good tips, thank you! ❤️ If I want a new save, should I change the cloud email address before or after I start a new game? (I accidently gave the vial holder-furniture to Merlin in the quest where you give him a blue furniture and now I can't craft or order it. It's in my collection but I can't get a "physical one" to place in my house. That's why I would like to start over with a new save but at the same time I don't want to lose my progress. Also I'm afraid that if I override my first save I will lose my founder pack and lose progress and items from the event.)

I was watching videos on this and I can't remember who said it but if you restart you still get your founders pack. I'm sure if you do a little more research you will find this info out because I definitely heard a KZfaqr say this!! 😊

I know the PlayStation does not provide cross-progression for other platforms, but can I log into the same PlayStation account I used on my PS4 and still pick up where I left off on my PS5 since it’s the same PlayStation profile or would I be forced to start a new game given I’m on a different console.

I actually forgot to give a role to Ursula and Ariel at lvl 2 so now I can't level them up with fishing or digging, etc. Help?

It isn't an option to give them a role and make them a buddy. Give them their favorite gifts and talk to them. A lot of people recommend spamming them with flowers to help level them up quickly.

Do cloud saves actually work at the moment? I know I'll want to start a new save file to play through the whole story as it's intended to be played once it's out, but the last thing I want to do is lose all the progress I have in my current save file because cloud saves aren't working. Has anyone tried having multiple saves?

I don't know why but whenever I try to save my game progress it wouldn't let me save it to a cloud I don't know why it just doesn't let me like once I make a password and my email and everything it just doesn't let me and I have to restart my game. That's just me

They give you a simple quest to get the last item after reaching level 10

The only difference are furniture and apparel items so if apparel and furniture is worth the extra 40$ (ultimate costs 70$ while base costs 30$) then get ultimate I just bought the base cause the game is frankly not worth 70$ lol it's barely worth 30$ id range it more around 20$, youre mostly paying for the ability to play early and get beta items not even the gameplay since the game will be free ultimately But if collecting the special items is an absolute must then get that, you can't change your founder package later so

The game is fun for the most part. it is similar to Stardew but friendship with villagers is WWAAAAAYYY more important, it's basically the core mechanic of the game lol also it's early release right now I think so it's still buggy and there are obvious balance issues that they are still working on, like dream shards are a very important resource but the super rare drop rate compared to the quest demands is very unbalanced so it gets grindy at points if you're not incredibly stingy about how you use your dream shards 😅

I love stardew but this game is so much better, I dont find myself stressing over if im missing things for the community center or missing the cart that comes on sunday and fridays. Its so relaxing and i wasnt sure id like it since im not so into Disney but it kinda brought me back to when i was younger and would play this one princess game on my wii haha its so fun :)

Wal ee is the first one. You need to start the garden for the village and then when you get him then its Moana and then its ramey last on the 3 because he's a chef how are you going to start off a chef with out a garden need wal ee for that then from there you can start understanding the game more 😀

For me, the only stressful thing about it is dying in the Skull Cavern and losing so much stuff. But, if you come in there with only so much stuff, you won't lose so much stuff to begin with
