So it turns out we are NOT all Xehanort… Also he's a descendent of Ephamere. The plot thickens. Also I am even more hyped for Missing Link now.

Luxu: "So when Xehanort asked my name years later, I realised I never actually thought up a new alias, and on the spot I just swapped the I and the G around to form 'Braig'. To this day I still have no idea if he bought it or was just humouring me."

This entire story really validates that last bit in KH3 where Eraqus and Xehanort disappear together into the afterlife. Dark Road really shows that despite their differences in ideologies they still tried their best to keep that friendship. Which makes everything that happens to both after they grew up even more the sadder...

It's really interesting: Xehanort, Baldr and Sora all share the power to connect to others, thus being candidates to be this "destined child", but only Sora was the one to not fall to darkness (and to actually rewrite light's defeat in KH3). Looks like this power is great but comes with a darker side, that the first two were not able to win over. Moreover, this power really draws a parallel with real-life empathy: it can let you feel what others feel, but too much of it can be dangerous for the subject's own mental health and can lead to opposite behaviours if in excess (as it happened to both Baldr and Xehanort)

When Bragi was revealed to be Luxu/Xigbar, I lost my mind! That "As if!" was so good!! It's crazy to me that something as simple as that can reveal who a character is without revealing their face!

Yo Everglow for me is like one of The Godfather’s of kh community. Ever since his Pacey days he was like one first KZfaqrs to upload the final mixes, secret bosses and be a dam beast at the fights. Nomura strikes again hoodwinked the entire fandom into thinking Xehanort was Player when in reality it was Blue Hood all along. And we got our tie in to Missing Link aka: Player's Bizzare Adventure Part 2 Blue Blood.

Luxus reveal as Bragi at 44:28 was mind blowing. But this is also the first time we see Luxu actually use a keyblade, and he disarmed Baldr with ease. Does make you wonder how good with a keyblade Luxu is. Xigbar said in KH3 that "if he had a keyblade it would be different"

Got to see Luxu flex his keyblade skills briefly. Dude wasn’t even phased by Baldr.

Sora being the child of destiny makes a lot of sense He is able to connect to others and not let himself be corrupted by darkness Also a cool thing about all of this is that all of the motivations of the other keyblade wielders are the questions you are given at the beginning of KH1

Players after ending of X: “So the player is reincarnated as Xehanort” Dark Road’s ending: “Sike!”

Seeing this really puts a new perspective on why Eraqus was so hard on Terra for using darkness. He had already seen a friend fall before, and didn't want it to happen to his surrogate son.

I was shocked to learn that Bragi was Luxu, I kind of screamed right when he said "as if!". Still is there a pattern as to his vessels, I mean first is was Brain, then Bragi, and now Braig/Xigbar. I was pretty shocked when it was revealed that Xehanort is Ephemer's great-great-grandson. And the fact player reincarnated into the blue-hood person and was taking care of Xehanort. And I think that Sora is the child of destiny, not Xehanort.

"I think i'd like to keep a hold of this body a little longer" YOU AGAIN!!!

Xehanort : "I want to see mommy" Sora : "I have a mom with one dialogue line?"

2:00 "13" to rebuild the new world. Xehanort's endgame in KH3 2:27 "14" Xehanort will return, he has one more vessel out there for backup. The guy really does plan for every contingency. Maybe this 14th is in Quadratum? Or just hidden away for now.

Bladr betrayed and defeated Xehanort's entire classmates. Just because he lost his sister. No wonder Odin Locked him up in a detention prison dungeon just for disobey Odin orders.

I kind of had a feeling that Bragi would be Luxu/Xigbar but I didn’t really have proof. Cool to see that I was right on that. And also the twist with Blue Hood being the player all along was awesome! And that Xehanort was actually the one descended by Epheremere actually makes sense since they both have silver hair. So that means Eraqus is a descended of Blaine (probably).

SOOOOOO We were wrong about the Player being Xehanort... When in reality the Player was Blue Hood... Xehanort is Ephemer's descendent... Bragi being Luxu... Gosh darn it, Nomura.

I'm surprised not a lot of people are talking about this the revelation of Bragi being Luxu does ultimately change the relationship he had with Xehanort once he changed bodies again to become Braig. And the sad part is that Xehanort, despite having his empathic abilities, wouldn't recognize that his righthand man was once his other childhood friend. Worst still Luxu might be (or might not) be aware he actually set things in motion by deciding to walk out from everyone's lives as it grave affected Xehanort to his core. I would like to think if Luxu did return to Scala after Olympius Vor and the upper class men might have survived and saved Xehanort from becoming the dark seeker. I actually would like to see what Luxu actually thoughts are about Xehanort during his time as Bragi and Braig and if he cared for him in future games. I wouldn't be surprised if Xehanort and Eraqus are looking for him in the afterlife post KH3 with their classmates.

So Odin's plan to help a clearly traumatized child who watched his only sister get murdered in front of him was to basically lock him away in solitary confinement for a week. Yeah, that's totally not going to drive him insane or nothing.

After 5 years of playing with the player, all the things we did to fix the khux situation...Turns out we reincarnate, and instead of living our best life, we are this selfless little happy bean once again. We raised this kid, our best friend's legacy, hoping he would paved the rightful path to light once for all. Our second and final life, and, this kid doesn't only not make it, he makes it worse. Honestly? I bawled my eyes out with the final speech.

Baldr's Darkness was insane it just kept packing everyone up like nobody's business.

At 39:13, Xehanort tells Eraqus, "And you're still you. Always the Joker..." Eraqus was voiced by Mark Hamill, who voiced the Joker in Batman TAS.

This could make the longest Kingdom Hearts Timeline work you'll ever do...

Now that we know Ephemer is Xehanort's great-great-grandfather we can finally estimate that the Keyblade War began around 150-225 years before Kingdom Hearts 1 started.

Are you telling me the player chose to reincarnate, to live two life times just to set Xehanort on the path of Destiny, chasing friends who weren't even his?

That Baldr scene with bragi had me like I KNEW IT!!! lol. Soon as I heard what his name was I was like..... Luxu you sneaky devil

Everyone says Sora, but the Child of Destiny must be Riku. Riku was supposed to be the chosen one from the beginning, the only reason Sora ended up with the Keyblade is because he was delegated after Riku went too close to the Darkness. Him ending up with Ventus' heart could have been entirely coincidence too Riku also fits Xehanort best, he's the odd one out. He has silver hair, he has the same dynamic with Sora that Xehanort has with Eraqus when they're young. He's the one that gets possessed with Xehanort's heartless Ansem Sora has all the heart abilities and empathy of the destined child but it looks like the wires got crossed. Combining both Sora and Riku together as one person fits the criteria, we even can add Kairi into that as a Princess of Heart. It's a little too perfect these three all ended up together

So apparently the luxu reveal went over my head with Bragi. My stupid brain was like, “is he da mastor”

Union X: Strelitzia gets killed. Darkness turns out to be the assassin, the Dandelions are forced to split up, Ephemer is the founder of Scala ad Caelum, and "Ciel" sacrifices himself/herself to stop Darkness from winning as the rest of Daybreak Town's populace merge with their Chirithies to become Dream Eaters. Dark Road: The Upperclassmen go missing. Baldr killed the remaining survivors after his sister and her party were killed by Maleficent. (Yes, _that_ Maleficent.) He also kills almost everyone in his class while we find out that Vanitas might have killed Strelitzia (or rather, caused her to be trapped in Quadratum for over 100 years) when he was still a part of Ventus, that "Ciel" died in his/her second life as the Blue Hood Dude and failed to prevent Xehanort's downfall, and _Xehanort is Ephemer's great-great-grandson._

The two EARLIEST theories at the time of the character reveals came true: Ephemer being an ancestor of Xehanort & Bragi's name looking way too similar to Braig to not be Luxu (and his character design looking too sus). I REALLY THOUGHT LUXU WOULD BE MASTER ODIN WITH HIS CRYPTIC LINES. Nomura going for the plain sight, non-complex story beats is ALWAYS the easiest way to throw most everyone off 🤯. Really wish Vor was Kairi's retired-keyblade-wielder grandma tho 🥺.

It's interesting the way Papa Nomura fooled us all with the Union X ending. It was really hard go back to Dark Road after so long, but the reward for completing it was worth it, don't you think? Now I can't begin to imagine how they'll intersect this with Missing Link and Mickey's research in Scala ad Caelum... On the side note, in your honest opinion, do you think we will see Oswald in a future Kingdom Hearts game?

Everyone at the end of UX: Okay so WE are the reincarnation of Xehanort Nomura: WHO DECIDED THAT?! Seriously the amount of plot twists in this is astounding, I'm still kind of reeling but I do believe it does Xehanort's character justice by providing relevant context for his motives: poor guy was so overcome with grief and determination he thought the only way he could save the world was to remake it from scratch. Also I'm really sus that Xehanort pointed out that Skuld's hair is the same as his mother's. Maybe she reincarnated instead of being Subject X, maybe its a coincidence. Goddamit Nomura ur so could at keeping things hidden! Don't even get me started on Bragi. How? How did I not see it! Its literally an anagram of Braig! 😭

Now I'm wondering which came first. Did Nomura make the Bragi and Braig connection and subsequently name a bunch of characters after Norse myth, or did he start naming characters after Norse myth and notice the anagram?

When I had completed KH3 I wasn't thrilled with the ending scene of Xehanort. It was extremely well written and acted, but I don't think I understood his motives well enough until now. The Dark Road story really helps add new light onto that scene.

So of the last few games, three have a "this person is actually Luxu" ending?? KH3 with Xigbar, UX with Brain and Dark Road with Bragi? At least we know how KH4 will end... Sora is Luxu!!!!!

It's been a while since I've brushed up on my KH lore, even for the beginning of Dark Road but I'm assuming Sora ends up as the child of destiny whilst Xehanort is like a failed paragon who lost his way and didn't follow the path believed to save the world? Or am I completely wrong? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!

finally, after the 3 years I postponed playing Melody of Memories, I come back to watch the rest of the mobile games' cutscenes, so I'm at last up to date with the series, and I gotta say... This was perhaps the most dark thing of all in the KH franchise as the Formless Darkness, especially this one that took and controlled Baldr as it’s vessel, KILLED OFF MORE THAN 10 KEYBLADE WIELDERS in the bids to summon Kingdom Hearts in a reversal plan to reset everything to spread only darkness. Had it succeed in killing BOTH Xehanort and Eraqus…
