Under strict regulations, from the dwindling number of over hunting, they have now grow over their natural number, the daily hunt number is 5, the total you can hunt in 1 season is 15, the over protective law has cause the native species to become invasive and eat it way down south and starve smaller bird. All the other species like dove, rail, crow, coot, woodcock... All have possession limit of 45, which mean they are over hunted compared to goose, they don't get feed by human and hard pressed against the goose. If you can, grab a gun and protect the environment, your state native bird and a good hunter. Vox and geographic channel all have video about this, go find it and make a good decision.
