Him stripping McDavid when he’s trying to do his classic McDavid dangle through everyone thing and then hitting the empty net is still my favorite . Just because how he’s always been in McDavids shadow his entire career and people always talk shit on him and make it seem like because he’s not scoring 150 points in a season that means he’s somehow an awful player . Was so satisfying to see him undress McDavid like that and seal the game for Vegas . Also, that’s one thing he CLEARLY has over McDavid. He’s a 10x better defensive forward than McDavid is.

You see a lot of rankings for centers have him in the 5-10 range but he’s easily a top 5 talent. Extremely underrated skating and defense as well.

Hes been underrated ever since his saga in Buffalo. When it comes to natural talent hes top 10 in the world

Because most hockey fans are delusional, and look at point totals to determine if a player is good or not.. Eichel has drastically lowered his point total because of him learning to be a better 2-way forward. His defense has gotten tremendously better this past season under VGK's coach. Pretty sure there is an interview where he specifically talked about how he worked 1 on 1 with Eichel to help him be a more defensive minded Forward, and it worked. He's very underrated.

What a unique talent. I'm so glad we get to see a healthy Eichel again. From his skating posture to the signature handles you can always tell its him even without seeing #9. Probably my favorite RH player to watch right now. Thanks for the highlights PDO crew!

If he buried even just one or two more of his opportunities he had he probably takes the Conn Smythe. He should have won regardless imo but the lack of finishing hurt his chances.

The thing was that he didn’t care since this was a team effort. I would use this playoff performance to show that he really is a team first player

watching the way he was shooting vs Winnepeg vs the way he rarely did against Florida tells u there must have been a significant injury. from off wing Ovi 1 timers on the PP to becoming a prime Joe Thornton in the finals. bro must have tweaked something. awesome work mr.filipovic

They were both so good in the post season. Karlsson was especially enjoyable to see him playing like he did in that 1st season. He was one of the only ones to help get Vegas going early on in the post season. He came ready to play from game 1 round 1 and dragged everyone else along with him. What a fuckin player . What a fuckin team. Eichel, Marchessault, Stone, and Karlsson literally all had a legitimate argument for winning the Conn Smythe
