Something that really strikes fear in me is this persons Username. Ash-Veil Lane. This is uncomfortably similar to Ash-Tree Lane, which is where the House from House of Leaves is located. And the entire theme of deltarune fits so well with House of Leaves, a dark world, a closet that doesn’t have any walls. When I first played deltarune and I heard Susie say “I think this closet is broken” I legit had to put down the game for a second because of that. I don’t know (or think) that this ARG has any connection so far to House of Leaves, but I just felt like pointing this out.

The items definitely correspond to each of Kris's classmates, I can't make exact connection to all of them though. There are exactly eight items in the shelf, including the purple skin, which matches the number of classmates Kris has. Not to mention, we can make obvious connections to two of the items to them, as they're part of their bodies. The purple skin is obviously Susie; the blue quill is Berdly, again, obviously; the pile of burnt twigs could be Noelle, like they're meant to be her antlers; the paper fortune teller could be Catti, since she is interested in the occult and a fortune teller with runes is right up her alley; and these are all the connections I can really make. Considering the other items seem pretty out-of-place, this theory could be wrong, but I might as well still point it out. Help would be appreciated in tryna figure out these links.

It seems this entry takes place in the distant future. Toriel moving away, the lightbulb burning out despite being "new", and last but not least the description saying "you’re ahead of schedule". If we’re going with the "Kris drowned in the lake" theory, this entry could be Kris as a ghost of some kind wandering the school? Not sure what to make of the ritual items. Perhaps Catti tried to bring Kris back somehow? The pale purple skin seems to be alluding to Susie, although if we’re REALLY pushing it we could say something about how dying from asphyxiation (like when drowning) causes the skin to turn purple-ish

A water damaged book page: Water is always suspicious in deltarune, and especially so in Ash-Veil Lane Not sure what to make of it though. A paper fortune teller with runes: Like the delta rune? A shard of petrified wood: ??? Large, jagged, rotten tooth: Could belong to Susie? Pale purple moulted skin: Of course, this would be Susie's. Susie shedding? Shedding and farding? ...They weren't wrong when they said it seems ritualistic. It brings Catti to mind, but this is just such a weird combination of characters to be together, right? Berdly, Catti and Susie? Catti despises Susie, and Berdly doesn't really hang out with anyone other than Noelle. EDIT: Perhaps the ritual has something to do with the being Kris encountered in the water yesterday?

Nobody going to mention how Kris is moving really strangely? They're moving at impossible angles, and their horizontal and vertical movement speeds don't seem to match at all. Almost makes me think the whole thing is a cutscene.

So, the more I think about it, the more i think it's Ash (or someone close to them) who drowned, not Kris. It's not Kris making all the strange choices like not asking about Ralsei, or not checking the beach painting -- it's the player, or in this case, Ash. Even the hole uses the language "It reminds YOU of...". You, not Kris.

One thing to mention is that the video doesn't look like a game anymore, but like a fanmade animation - look at the unnatural diagonals and speeds Kris walks at. It wouldn't be notable otherwise, but the previous videos felt way closer to the gameplay than this one and some of the latter ones
