ok im starting to get worried for this game, as people have their expectations so high for it and something sonic fans tend to do is say a game is bad if their expectations arent met skins, multiple special stages, the damn villians being playable, and updates the reason i feel like updates is a strech is cause.. like, its a damn 2d sonic game. they can make the graphics prettier and fix bugs, but i dont know what else. for those who would say "more stages!!!", thats a very not sega thing to do. having expectations and hopes in fine, but thats a bit too much.

i mean after all these are just potential things they COULD add to the game, not necessarily things they will. even if none of these things are in the game, my #1 point is being a fun game so as long as the game is fun, my personal expectations will be met but i get your point about others having super high expectations.

The 8 play able characters for online mode should Be the rest of fangs gang which is 2, mighty and Ray which is another 2 making 4 and we already have Sonic, tails, knuckles, Amy, so that’s 4 + 4 = 8

All the thinks you said were things i would like to see but if I had to pick one thing I would want to see is maybe custom levels and charecters I would think it would be very fun to play custom levels with friends and it would also be fun to make custom charecters and not the way they did it with sonic forces.

I feel like we need metal sonic as the fifth character because we dont see metal sonic anywhere in the trailer or intro so it could be eggman abandoned metal sonic just like in one of those sonic mania adventures
