George Harliono (age 11) performs the 3rd movement of Beethoven's Waldstein Sonata No. 21 in C Major at Kings Cross station in London. The piano has been left at the station as part of the Play Me I'm Yours art installation by Luke Jerram. Some of the keys didnt work.

Wow!! What a privilege to have seen and heard this...The fact that boy that young can sit and play this from memory is nothing but absolutely astounding. I realize that those passing by have trains to catch but how numb and cut off do you have to be to just walk by and not stop to witness this incredible moment.

This is one of the hardest/most difficult pieces to play on the piano & he pulled it off~Perfectly! I feel honored & privileged to have gotten "front row seat" to this free concert from this obvious master virtuoso. Priceless!

This child’s first language is music. If you look at his blood under a microscope you’ll see music notes floating around in it. 7 years later, I wonder what he’s doing today. Certainly still playing beautiful music, I hope. This is amazing! ❤️

To me, this video is not about a "kid playing piano." It's about a serious performer, in a "boot camp" obstacle course. I am in awe about the adult(s) behind him, as well as the extraordinary accomplishments of Georg, himself. This video is so inspirational, an MANY levels! This is the definition of wailing on a piano. You see a good number of kids in his age group who play like the best adults out there but you don't see many who can play with this level of comfort, confidence, fluidity and maturity. Really nice to see.

I am 72 and started playing instruments at ten years of age and still record tracks on Cubase, playing all instrument and mixing it down. I like to think that I am a fair judge of talent and in Classical music Beethoven (symphonies) has always been my favourite. This 11 year old boy has a feel for the music which takes most of us many years to achieve, let alone the skill to express it. In my opinion compulsorily listening and a must have. Anything this boy plays has to be first class.

How sad is to see so many people passing by like robots not hearing and seeing, no matter how on a hurry you are to just stop and look to see where the beautiful music is coming from, so much running around and missing what life is offering for free but only if you are paying attention

I am not an expert, just enjoy listening to classical music, but I do know when I am captivated by a performance. This is definitely one of those times. I have been listening to various recordings of this particular movement a lot recently (studio recordings on concert grand pianos), yet this to me genuinely communicates freshly the essence of the wonderful music by Beethoven - more than many. Thank you.

George, you should be on TV in your country's Got Talent competition. When God was handing out genius-level intelligence and musical ability, you must have been standing first in line! I think that's how you were able to memorize that entire piece and play it EXPERTLY without sheet music. THAT WAS AMAZING!!! I'M BLOWN AWAY!!!

So many people quickly walk past this child playing so masterfully. So many people are so blind to obvious beauty. Their lives are so insulated from feeling anything at all. Very sad. This is simply a magnificent performance that should never be ignored by anyone.

How many realise the hours of study and practice which are needed to achieve that level of ability and skill? It hardly seems possible that he could have packed them all into such a young life. He ought to be on a concert stage. There is something truly inspiring that he can give a masterful rendition of an advanced piano composition on an inferior instrument with all of the distraction on a railway station - of all places.

Numb Numb Actually an old man in an orange jacket and blue hat, and a middle age man in red jacket with red suitcace knew. And they didnt walk away just to cach a train. Listening Betoven from a talended boy in a train station would make me miss the all train schedule for that day. BRAVO !
