“ I get to turn 30 ..as Me” ...wow , that hit me hard. I’m 53 and it’s not cheap to become ‘Me’ and at this stage it’s a solitary path. These videos showed me what was possible - so your vids and all of the extremely great intel ( others as well) helped me to evolve. I am still trying to understand and work things out - you Chase are a trail blazer and I don’t know if you know how necessary you and your content are for those of us out here younger and older - it’s so sad to have lived my whole life as someone other than myself - and the multitude of paths I took because YOU were not created yet and it still took almost another decade to find you and others like you. So you should do a video on this topic and how if you and many others didn’t put yourselves out there then people like me wouldn’t have a shot at finding - ‘Me’. My words to you cannot be overstated - much respect to you Chase ✌️

20 years on T Disappointments? Was a singer ..a good one, T took away most of my range ...also..lost my hair ..smh..had no idea that would happen Positive notes: I feel so normal that gender never crosses my mind. I have evolved, no longer so focused on what I'm not and focused now on "Who" I am.

When I decided to come out, you were already 7 years on T. Your videos helped me a lot to realise, that being trans is actually a real thing. That it is not just an idea in my head, but a real chance for me, to find happiness and peace in my life. I am 2 years on T now, had my top surgery and meta and will be getting phalloplasty next January. I could not be any happier in life. Thank you Chase for all you have done for me and the community

I am a soon to be 64-year-old trans man that has waited all of his life and has now spent the last three years auntie! I am so proud of you! And it’s good to see the progress that you’ve made! I enjoy the education I’ve gotten through your videos. I’m in the process of still trying to change my name and gender I’ve done it through the government but I’m still working on the state of California which is supposed to be pretty easy. As far as for being 30, you’re as young as you feel! You’re right on! The most important thing I can tell you is what you’re already doing and that’s enjoying life! There’s no surviving, existing, now life is about living and enjoying all the things that we wanted and that we now have which is ourselves, our true selves! Please, keep up the good work. I enjoy so much watching your videos I look forward to them all the time. Enjoy your birthday year! Buddy.

Eyyy fellow Californian here who's had to do it twice (because they fucked up the first time) it's only fifty bucks, and you don't have to do the $300 name in the paper bullshit anymore. As a tip when you go to the court to get it changed make sure they make you copies for social security office and DMV and other government/job stuff so they can change it right away. Those won't change automatically so you have to give them your copy of the official court saying it's changed. Anyways if you have more questions feel free to poke my brain.

@@JC-jd1us did you get a fee waiver? bc I'm a californian and last I checked it's still $400 to request a name change (I know the name in the paper thing is irrelevant now but I'm pretty sure just submitting the document costs that much)
@JC-jd1us
@JC-jd1us 3 жыл бұрын
@@mothboy420 yes I did get a fee waiver I went to a free legal clinic to get it done. But also it shouldn't cost more than $100, $50 for filling and $50 for that official stamp make sure you get copies there to give to your local DMV, social security office and for your other legal documents.

Sometimes it's scary being on T, absolutely not knowing what it's gonna be like in ten, twenty, even sixty or more years, just because there's so little information out there. I'm really glad you and a couple others posted a 10(ish) year update because i really felt like the only up to date videos coming out after 8+ years of transition were from people who are detransitioning. More power to them if that is their path but i hate what only having that side shown does for the trans community.

I never knew about trans people in a healthy way before (small private Christian school, sheltered) and having you put into words how I had been feeling my entire life brought me to tears. Hi Chase!! I love seeing this kind of video - definitely gives me something to look forward to :D. One video idea that I feel like you'd be the best person out there to make would be an evolution of packer quality during the time of your transition. Even the well-known brands like Gendercat/Reel Magik/Transthetics seem to have huge aesthetic and effectiveness upgrades from their earlier models to now, but then there have also been new brands entering too. What have been the biggest breakthroughs in prosthetic qualities over the past decade+ you've been using them? What are you looking forward to in the future?

Definitely get the whole feeling younger, I’m 28 and still feel like I’m in the late teens. I remember saying to my Dad that I felt stuck at 12 when I was in my late teens at the time and when I came out it made sense because I hadn’t gone through the correct puberty. But yeah definitely get the whole feeling younger than your actual age 😊

Firstly, I’m 45 and how has that been 11 years, as I’ve only just got on testosterone myself! Secondly, parenting ages you SO rapidly- looks wise. But mentally we all still spend a lot of time feeling like we are still that puberty age etc. But obviously you start also having those moments where your body is failing you more and you sound more like some ancient wise person when very young LgBT people are around and you talk about your first Pride/communicating with first partners/meeting first partners etc. Well done, Chase. I’ve always been grateful that you spoke honestly about doing transition your own way and doing what felt right to you at the time - it really helped me feel less scared about medically transitioning and helped me feel I might be able to take control of my own life for the first time (at least in that way). Can’t wait to see all the other videos! I’m only 3 months on testosterone and I’m already astounded at how calm my emotions are, so I wonder how only using gel once a week has effected your mood swings/emotions, especially after a long time of being more regular on it. I worry I’d feel unstable again if I stopped or reduced the amount I take later. Also - do you think less testosterone/it spaced out has saved your hair more? (I know it’s probably hard to tell as you don’t have a comparison!)

Totally feel you on being an older trans person talking about my first pride to some younger trans and omg I feel ancient!! To answer your question about hair, I’ve been on Finasteride since like year 4 or something and I think that, and a mix of taking care of my hair with good products and not playing with or pulling it has really helped me still have my hair!
