Mary, I just happen to see him and the Group, too. I love to hear this young fella sing. Yes, I believe he is anointed by God to sing this type of songs about the Lord, and I agree with you...he is like a matured man inside of a child's body. Great singing!

I love this young man. I been singing since I was a little girl, I can't tell of all the singers that I learned from. I stood in the mirror and did Aretha Franklin, Albertina Walker and so many others. It help me find my own voice. I was bless by the song. God be with him, he is gonna be a great singer and we will hear him again.

This young man reminds me of myself, back in the 70's i looked just like that. Now I'm old and have a 13 year old similiar to Michael. He has an "old spirit", I've had an "old spirit" for 35+ years, that's acquired from the environment you are raised in. He could be using inappropriate speech, singing secular music and a multitude of other things; instead he's uplifting the savior.

I've been singing gospel since i was 3 yrs. old. and im 23 now and are still singing his praises. that's the whole point in reading the bible. The bible says train a child in the way he should go and when he is older he will not depart from it. My family trained and taught me about the blood of Jesus and still today I cant help but to sing and tell the world about the blood that saved me. So keep on singing for Jesus baby! Dont let anyone tell u anything different. The devil comes in all forms.

Calm down people. He's 11 yrs old and those that are anointed to sing know that we grow up emulating various professionals. Lets stop finding fault and be glad that the child is in the church singing the gospel and not in the world doing wrong. He's finding his way, so be careful with the criticism because those words could lead someone astray.

It'sfunny how you all can address the fact that he is not being himself or that comment that someone needs to "teach" him about Christ and address his anointing and you don't know him. You look at one video and take totally out of context one statement, "he can do slim too" and begin to speak about his relationship with Christ, his knowledge of Christ, his parents and pastor's lack of teaching him about Christ.

Praise God for Michael's anointing at such a young age. 1st Timothy says, "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in faith, , in purity. Verse 14 says " Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. "We have no way of knowing if Michael is imitating someone else or walking in his own calling...but God knows. God will direct his path. I enjoy Michael's singing, and I'm blessed by it. Who knows, his very singing may lead others to Christ.

Con't... This young man is very anointed and does have his own identity and style. If you looked at the other videos you would have noticed that he is not just "imitating" other singers. His own single "Rapture" is actually posted up here. The comment simply meant that at 11 he could sing Slim's song that that he was trying to be Slim. At any rate, since you know so much about Christ, you should know that Christ would not have handled this the way your did with critisim of a child!!!
