GVGMall that you recommended only has OEM Windows keys. That's not ideal because OEM keys aren't supposed to be distributed. You want Retail key. That's extortion for an OEM key. Overvalued. I've seen actual Retail keys go for the same. Can't remember where though but you can get them.

If you can't quite afford the 7800xt, there is also the 6800 that is selling on amazon for 359$, at the time of this comment. It's definitely not as good as the 7800xt but for 1080p gaming its kinda of insane price per performance.
@Brokenhill42
@Brokenhill42 26 күн бұрын
This was about my price point 6 months ago when I built...got a 7600x + 7800xt (asrock challenger), not caring for aesthetics just got a cheap white box that also had room for a disc drive. This video helps confirm I made a good choice, haha! My GPU did come bundled with Avatar...a pretty game but I've barely played it.
@82_930
@82_930 26 күн бұрын
Word of advice to improve this: (AND keep it looking pretty, all white parts) Firstly, Toss AM5 and go with LGA1700. 12th gen is much cheaper and isn't far behind the 7600/7600x even if you use cheaper Ddr4 memory. This is the list I would recommend, plus everything comes off of amazon: i5 12400F (equal to 5600x)- 110$ TR assassin 120 white- 15$ B760M Pro RS D4- 100$ Steel Legend 7900GRE-520$ Silicon Power Turbine blue 2x16 D4 3200- 50$ Silicon Power A60 1tb nvme ssd- 50$ Bitfenix Nova mesh white (incl 3x RGB fans, mATX)- 50$ MSI A750BN 750w Psu - 70$ Formula mod blue cable extensions pack- 20$ Total: 995$ Pre tax. Plus this will perform better at 1440p and look much nicer than Zach's build. Zach if you see this you spent to much on the cooler, ram, and motherboard. 7600 doesn't need an aftermarket cooler or a motherboard with that much Vrm, a B650M D3HP AX for 100$ is a better buy for that cpu

First of all, this channel is doing a great job. For this reason i did a research on the used PSU in this build. Please don't get me wrong. It is not the intention to point out flaws, start an argue or similar. Moreover it is an addon to the existing video. As mentioned in the video already, right now there is the open question if the used PSU is still an A-Tier, because the PSU-Tier-List is from 2023, while the PSU is from 2024. In addition to this, the P/N-Naming by Thermaltake between 2019 Edition and 2024 Edition is misleading. The PSU in the video: 2024 Edition P/N PS-TPD-0750FNFAGx-P ("x" values i.e. A,E,K,U) Model TPD-750AH2FLG WATTS 750w MAX PEAKOUT OUTPUT WATTS 750w OPERATUNG TEMPERTURE +5 degree C up to +40 degree C with COOLING SYSTEM 120mm FDB (fluid dynamic bearing) fan, MTBF (mean time between failures) 100 (this seems to be a wrong value on official page, moreover meant to be 100,000 hours minimum) The PSU in the mentioned Tier List rated A: 2019 Edition P/N PS-TPD-0750FNFAGx-1 ("x" values i.e. A,E,K,U) Model TTP-750AH3FCG WATTS 750w MAX PEAKOUT OUTPUT WATTS 900w OPERATUNG TEMPERTURE +0 degree C up to +50 degree C with COOLING SYSTEM 140mm hydraulic bearing fan, MTBF (mean time between failures) 120,000 hours minimum Notes: - Both PSU are ATX 2.4 - be careful while searching for the "old" PSU. In the P/N only the last position changes ("1" for 2019 edition, "P" for 2024 edition) Differences: As you can see by the provided data, the 2024 edition reduces the peakout drastically before your system starts showing the "white flag". Keep this in mind if you're thinking about tweaking the system by OC/UV. Same goes to the reduced (by 10 degree celsius) max operating temperture based on the reduced diameter of the fan in the 2024 Edition. In some regions 40 degree celsius might be hit with ease ... Final thoughts: Right now, there ist no reliable review for the 2024 Edition from known tech-channels. 2019 Edition reviews exist. The differences are taken from the official Thermaltake websites UK, US, and Germany. Once stresstests are made with the 2024 Edition from reliable tech-channels and the PSU-Tier-List gets an update, there is solid data to work with. But right now, if you are able to get your hands on the 2019 Edition (that one in the PSU-Tier-List rated A), you should go for it - even if you spend a few bucks more but knowing your hardware is save. Greetings from germany and keep up the good work. 👍

@@user-nk7lw6mh1d Hi and sorry for the delay 😅 The given build "as is" will run smooth with the mentioned PSU. As i said, it'll become more tricky if you start tweaking (OC/UV) CPU, GPU and Ram timings. My intention was not to irritate you. If that happened, i am sorry for that. I'll be sure you'll have a nice system for 1440p - Zach's systems are great.

well done on these choices. always worth mentioning that a microcenter cpu/ram/mobo bundle will usually be cheapest option, but definitely note that most people dont physically have access to a microcenter. i completely get why its not mentioned. what IS worth mentioning though is that the 7600 is basically just a power-choked 7600x, and you can 'unlock' it using Ryzen Master and squeak out basically identical performance if needed. great choice on the cpu for a non-bundle option.

interesting benchmark results. I have a 12600k, 7800xt, and 32 gigs of ddr4 3200 CL22 (I know that's awful it was a drunken amazon purchase lol) and in Timespy I scored 18851 (~1600 higher) but in Steel Nomad I got 4085 (~150 lower). It seems like, at least for benchmarking purposes, slow ddr4 with a really bad CL doesn't actually have that much of a performance drop from high quality ddr5. I also get really similar fps in HD2 and Starfield, but I can't compare with the other games shown (I don't have them) Edit: I think the price of my entire build was like $1,110 before shipping for anyone curious

Great job on the build, it's fun and exciting to see the pc building scene ramping up again with these builds considering new hardware is just around the block. Sadly the prices here in my country is still high, the RX 7800XT is still around 650 dollars and if I follow 'most' of the build, I'll only end up with atlmost a RTX 4060/RX 7600XT. Hopefully the prices will drop later this year so keep on making them performance and aesthetic builds!

YT clearly didn't like this video so they decided to show it to me 10 days later. This despite the fact i always love these builds even if higher priced than most the PC content i watch.

Yo I know it's been a week after you posted this but I noticed that this 1100 dollar pc gets 326 fps on fortnite compared to your recent 1250 dollar build which got 308 fps. I want to build my first pc soon so I am really interested for why this is happened. Can you respond back or make a short about this plz?😊❤

U could’ve gotten the micro center deal with the 7700x because the deal with the mobo ram and cpu is actually cheaper and better than the parts u used but that’s if u live near a micro center

Zach, the 13 gen intel processors are still very good and now that people are buying amd more, prices for intel 13 gen is way lower. So something like. 13700kf might not be a bad price to performance option. And since most people wont upgrade for a few years, they should be fine with intel 13 gen. I think u should make a max fps build woth intel

Do you think a roughly 390$ pc with a Ryzen 5 3600X, GTX 1660S, 16gb 3200 MHz ram is worth it? (I live in Sweden and prices are a bit skewed so parts are really expensive)

a $300 Pure perfomance build would definetely be cool to see. Using something like a Xeon Motherboard combo off aliexpress and a GPU off aliexpress would definetely make this possible
@SpoonHurler

For 300-ish bucks I'd just get one of many Xeon workstations glooding the market like the Lenovo P520 and plap in your choose of ~100 usd GPU cause it will not only be as powerful as any other $300 build, most come with a 900W psu that will be much, MUCH better than any of the bargain basement C tier or lower ones going into an ultra budget build. That also means it's an easy upgrade to a real 1440p card later.

That's some serious money. So if I was going to spend that kind of money I would want to pull out all the stops. The big thing I would change is I would make sure to get a motherboard designed for overclocking. And I would make sure to get a large nvme SSD with room to grow and then a pair of large spinning drives in a mirrored set. And I would want a case that lets me still install an optical drive because I want to digitize all my old physical media. I don't want the case to be too big but I want it to be big enough for me to use something like a 280 mm radiator water cooling AIO for the overclocking. And no focus on RGB. In fact I would want to make sure all the fans are gray noctua fans. Or maybe just the only RGB fans would be the ones on the AIO.
