Hey, so i listened to abunch of diffrent subliminals after my application went theough to a provete boarding school ive been wanting to go to.. ive been applying for 3 years and each year i was denied because i wasnt a good enough student. This year was completely different. I listened to one subliminal on loop all nigt whenever i remebered/ wanted to listen to it until the date they would say if i was accepted or not. They day came and they said that i was waitlisted. I was completely surprised and happy, ive never come so close to somthing ive wanted for so long before. So recently on april 11, the school said that they were unapple to let me attend there school because they were at full capacity of students they could accept. They said that mycreditals were amazing and that they thought i would be an amazing student, but they were at capacity rate of accpetance. So of course i was upset. I had come so close to somthimg ive wanted for so long and i couldnt do it because they were full. So of course this had me hunting for ways that they would have to call back and say that even though they were unable to reconsider my application they would and i would go there for 8th grade year. It was A windy August of 2023. The sky 0utside was a hue of Indigo blue.. I had gone to V C Mall to shop, explore, watch a movie and have dinner with my parents. The movie went well and I enjoyed it. But throughout it, I was slightly distracted by a particular boy sitting on my left. He was constantly whispering and laughing with his other friends and i have to admit, he was extremely cute. Apparently, he and his friends had finally convinced their parents to let them go to the movies alone and this was their one week day break from school. They had been waiting for this movie for some time and hoped it wouldnt dissapoint. Later, after the movie, we sat down at one of those stools in the food court and ordered from one of our favourite fastfoods. I ordered seafood and a cold drink. While enjoying the hot yummy food, I felt a cool, fluffy thing brush against me. Thatpulled another stool beside me on my right and sat down. I looked and saw that to my amazement and joy, it was that very boy!! Now I had a better look of him. He had slightly pale skin with a pinkish undertone to it, sweet brown eyes and fluffy light hair that instantly reminded me of a Labrador! Even his puffy red jacket added to the illusion. He put down his food and sighed as if to catch his breath. And then, he looked at me and offered me a tender smile. I just melted and offered him a smile from my side. And then he looked away to focus on his food. For a moment i was so sad. I thought he was gonna leave it there just like verybody else and I would never hear from him again. I tried to focus on what nan was telling and showing me to distract myself from that awkwardness of looking uncool.. But then....! Moments later, when Nan and mum walked away to the loo, he spoke again. He asked just a simple question. Nothing grand. For a moment I was shocked and also relieved that he took interest. And that's how it continued. Somehow, I felt brave and comfortable asking him questions and answering. We kept talking about little things even until Nan and mum returned. He told me that he was planning to go to the book fest with his friend that was occurring on the top floor at the moment and I excitedly told him i was also planning on checking it out! So with my mum's approval, we both went up and took a look at the shelves and boxes while chatting about our favourite genres, movies and whatever two bookworm teens would discuss about!. In the end, we had to leave. So we exchanged numbers and promised and hoped we would meet up again. That entire Saturday night, I couldn't stop thinking about him. All I could imagine was that one number i had saved, to message me tomorrow as the first thing I opened my eyes to.
