Meyer dominated from the start but Luke battled the entire match. Props to both wrestlers for a good clean match.

What was the move by Meyer at (02:46) to Luke's spinal column? Seems like a violation to my eyes? Thanks Midwest Wrestle for your effort and engaging videography, as always!

Thank you. It appeared to be a setup to an aborted "Power Half Nelson" attempt, in which the forearm against the back of the neck is used for extra leverage. The amount of force used in the placement of the forearm on the back of the neck must not exceed normal aggressiveness or be used in a punishing way, which is subjectively determined by the referee on the mat.

@@MidwestWrestle Thanks for your professional insight. I know that refs must make split second decisions during matches and can't see all, at once. All the more valuable for a clear professionally recorded account as you always provide!
