[Builder's view] FUJIMI Dino246GT is in progress.
We will start with the chin parts.
The instructions say to attach the chin parts after the chassis and body are combined, but you need to glue them together first to remove the seams.
The first thing I need to do is to look at the parts carefully and modify them... there is a lot of work to be done and it takes a lot of time. The work on the chin may continue for a while.
I also put the body and chassis together. The body and chassis fit together as they were before I put the interior in place, but I'm afraid that I'll have to leave some room, so I'm going to cut some off.

I love it when you let your sense of humor come through. We don't get to see it too often, so when we do, it's a real treat. Your general demeanor is one of strict professionalism, which is not a bad thing- and to be expected, given the quality of your craft. Every time I load up one of your videos, I'm usually sitting in stunned silence. Getting to have a good chuckle is a pleasant distraction from the norm. Have a great weekend.

WOW. I can not believe this was sold. That kit is “challenging”… 😂 … maybe 3P0 would have been easier. ME: shouting at the injustice, while chewing my nails to the quick. We are with you all the way to the end. Master.

I have often seen Fujimi kits that are some of my favorite cars. However, I never can bring myself to buy them since over the years I've seen how much work is involved trying to correct the flaws in the kit. Do you build them out of the passion for the car or is it the challenge of fixing the model?

シャシーのはめ込みは似たような方法で出来ないか試していたのですが、あきらめてシャシーをぶった切って逃げました。別の作業でルーフにクラックを入れてしまったので無理が効かなくなったのです。一応キャビンパーツを付けてもねじ込むことはできましたが、窓のクリアパーツを付けた後だとまた違うかもしれませんね。

お疲れ様です。流石ですね。フジミのトラップを次々と看破されております。合体の障害に内装を予想されているのもスルドイです。私はウデが無いので、先人達に倣いフロントメンバーでシャシーを分割してネジ止めしようと思っています。今回は…お茶目ですね。σ(^_^;)

Stick with Tamiya kits, far less work correcting them.

13:48　キット素組で作る場合ボディ右側の隙間が狭くて付属のサイドウインドウ部分が入らなくなるんですｗ大昔に作ったときにはボディに接着し継ぎ目を消したあとに気づきゴリゴリとｗキットのサイドウインドウをフィルムなどで置き換える場合は隙間を狭めるのがいいかもしれませんが、そのままだと隙間が目立つのでしょうか？身の回りでエンスー版を手掛けた方でシャーシーとボディの合体に成功した事例は皆無です顎パッカンをやるか他の部分を傷めるか、断念してボディとシャーシを並べるかいずれかですねシャーシ前後に臓物がないRSシリーズ版ならなんとかなるのかもしれませんがエンジンフードの開口部のサイズと位置が根本的に違うってのは初めて気づきましたがフジミあるあると言ってしまえばそれまでなのでしょうけど放置中のF355では位置とサイズばかりではなく数も違っていまして、たまたまヤフオクでエンジンフードの出品写真から比率計算して割り出して作り直してとかやってますが、完成する日が来るのか？ F355の屋根なしの方は数は修正されてあってますがサイズがおかしいのはそのまんまｗ

ありがとうございます、ウインドウのパーツを入れて理解しました。非対称なのは問題ですが、スキマ自体は無いと困るものでしたね。それにしてもこのままだとスキマが見えてしまうのでウインドウを避けて閉じることにしました。 512BBも普通ではボディがはまらないし、気をつけて組み立てますね。

エンジンフードとボディの隙間はガラスの透明が入るとちょうど良いとか？

ガラスが分厚いのでちょうど入りそうですが、非対称なのがちょっと。あと、外側からみたときにこのすき間はちょっと。

I have a feeling that the challenges of fitting the body and chassis together are because the manufacturer intended the lower half of the nose to be fitted after the rear of the chassis had been put into the body. Of course, that makes body painting more complex. Seems like a bad design.

Yes, that is correct, but there is the problem of what to do with the seam when the lower half of the nose is attached later. So it will be like that.
