I live in Sebring Florida, I have not evacuated, and for anyone that isn't experiencing this right now, here is an inside feel. It's super hot, the power is out, and the water is super high. The humidity is absolutely horrible, and the wind is picking up dramatically. And we are only on the outside at the moment. Stay safe, stay prepared, and good luck to everybody.

My grandpa is in Florida right now and didn't want to evacuate because he thought they were exaggerating the strength of the storm (he never really trusted the news or media anyway). My step grandma evacuated and took their two dogs but my grandpa is stubborn on staying in Florida. Luckily he won't be in a direct hit, he lives southeast of Orlando, but I still hope he'll be okay.

We got hurricane force wind gusts in Broward miami and Palm beach. Lots of trees down some road signs. The winds were worse than expected for the tri county given that the core hit Naples. Also lots of tornadoes.

novadhd I live in Miami, power out in Miami, my sister live in palm beach power out also and fort Lauderdale as well. Very heavy wind it feels like 70mph not 100 yet. I know how 100 look a d feel like. Also heavy rain, lake and canal raising up. I live very near to huge boating lake. Water just off. So far it looks like a ghost town. All shelters are full

it is hard to trust these tv stations, but the potential of devastating winds are still very possible. On Google Maps there are reviews on places in Cudjoe Key that are still open. I wish my school was destroyed but i live in Tampa bay and it was a cat 2
