Very nice. Brings back memories of the Army bringing us home from Korea in 1978 on a Tiger Airlines charter flight - knees up to our chins. But we were young and flexible - and coming home after a year - so we were just glad to be on the plane.

I went to the Philippines via japan airlines business class with my mom because my dad gave up his ticket to be in economy instead of first class. I really enjoyed the japanese meals/snacks i had on the way to the Philippines. Mind you, I took another plane to get to our final destination. I have to say, business class in japan airlines was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Thank you for the great videos with good captions!

Many, many years ago I flew JAL First Class from Narita to San Francisco. Very nice flight. JAL cabin crew met every need of me and my fellow passengers. I had a first class seat at the front of the B747 and what was really nice was a curtained bed on the upper deck. Slept great, awakened by flight attendant and served a meal back at my seat. Along time ago but I will never forget Japan Air Lines and this flight.

This is a wonderful video. Reminds me that 15 years ago, I was on a trip with my family to China. The trip really helped me appreciate my roots and heritage. I also took flights to Beijing from San Francisco, and back again.

We visited Japan via cruise from Vancouver. Was 15 days long and we got into really bad storm near Russian islands. But never the less had a lot of fun on the cruise. Japan since then one of my favorite countries. Thanks for video.

I was surprised at how happy I was to see you coming in to land at Narita. It was dark when I landed there a few years back, but the thought of going back to Japan excites me so much. I loved every moment I was there. First class is way too expensive for me, but we managed to get first row seats by an emergency exit and had about six feet of leg room. That made the 14 hour flight tolerable!

Fun to watch. Entertaining and amusing! For a while there I thought that first multi-course meal you were having was going to take up the entire 12 hours of flight time. 😂

I absolutely LOVE the feeling of taking off the ground when flying, on my way to somewhere amazing. Almost the same as landing, in either direction. Always good to have a happy landing, don’t you think? ❤

Ok, my two cents, as an italian food enthusiast, about some typical western exclusive food: - Caviar. This one is maybe the most iconic, and one of the hardest to like. It's an acquired taste. You won't be ready for the saltiness. Much better with blinis, boiled egg, maybe minced raw onions, that balance the saltiness. It goes well with bubbles, but trust me, try vodka instead of champagne with it. You may love it. - Lobster. Everyone loves lobsters. I think the small ones from the mediterranean are the best I ate. Thai tiger shrimps are amazing, too. Also carabinersos/jumbo shrimps are great, we have them in the sea next to sicily. - Truffle. There's huge difference within low quality truffle, and high quality ones (white from Alba, north/west italy). But you'll probably not like it, at least the first times, because of its smell and flavour, extremely earthy, and a bit like methane gas. The white one is very expensive, soft, rich, almost creamy, but the taste is very strong. - Oysters: like a spoon of sea water, some say. I love'em, expecially the european round ones, the belon oysters. But many people see not much besides the sea water taste, and the extreme sliminess can be a problem for many. Don't let me catch you pickin' an oyster with your fork, you sever the small muscle that holds it to the shell, then let it slip in your mouth straight from the shell! Foie Gras: it's force fed goose liver, a french delicatessen. It works well on a Rossini filet/tournedos, because it gives the best with brandy and truffle, but it has a oretty weird buttery taste, and also a weird consistency. But a Rossini fillet will easily be the most expensive item on a menu, consider you may not enjoy it.
