The most interesting woodworking video I've seen so far. Man oh man, so many amazing tricks and problem solutions, that I don't know which one to point out. I can't imagine you making any money on those chairs unless you got an order for ten thousand lol. Cheers man, thanks for an amazing video.

Hi Joey, great to see that you and your business are still going strong. I, like many others, 222k subs to be exact, watch your videos because we are in awe, amazed and inspired by your craftsmanship. Both the chairs and your skill are outstanding. As for Covid, well the world has changed and as is still changing. Life has taught me a few lessons along the way but one thing I have learnt is that when you are in a position where you can't do anything, do nothing. Don't panic or stress as you can't change it but what the hell is the 'it' we are worried about anyway. Things could be better but things can always be worse and often our worries and fears never come to fruition. Just react when you have to, when you need to. Meanwhile just step back view 'it' from afar and breath, yep breath. Keep yourself and your family safe and keep the videos coming fot the two hundred and twenty thousand people who are interested in you and wishing you well.

SO very glad you still have your shop through all of this. By the way, the chairs are amazing! My dad used to use that same Weldwood glue when I was a kid - joints he made 45 years ago are still holding solid - those chairs are NEVER coming apart!

Great video Joey 🙂 nice to see what you have been up to since you have been allowed back in your workshop. Your work is nothing but amazing and highlights to me that we as wood workers are only limited by our imagination! The challenge always is then how do we go about making it. Jigs, clamping arrangements and a lot of trial an error is how it's done and you have excelled once again. Watching you work always gives me ideas how I can do things. Thank you for sharing your work and your skills. Take care and I look forward seeing what you create next 😊

Love those chairs! Nice work! I like how much you use your bandsaw. Here in Germany most carpenters don't use it. They seem to be better for collecting dust sitting in the corner than cutting some wood. Regards, Etna.

My hats off too you! You do Beautiful work!!! People always ask me if I make chairs and I explain that it's not worth it. It's a tremendous amount of work and to do just a few would be prohibitively expensive. They are better off going to a chair place.

Looking at the process with the panther router. The bit takes quite an aggressive bite initially and I noticed you had to glue a tear back on. Wondering if it would help to wrap the edge at the cut with blue masking tape before you start routing.

Those chairs are stunning. How comfortable will they be to sit on for a couple of hours? Sad, to hear the original was cut up / used for the production chairs, but you'll still have the forms, so it may not be too difficult to make more. Thanks for the vid. Cheers, David.

Great work as always, Joey. Question: Why not make a second set of A and B molds for the chair back? To turn that 12-day process into a 6-day one. Or did it not really matter as the rest of the build was going to take longer anyway?

Is a formaldehyde-based glue safe to use? Or is the outgassing of the formaldehyde at 'safe' regulatory levels? Or am I being paranoid for no apparent reason except for the possibility that my heightened level of anxiety is associated with a certain viral pandemic and living in Sweden, where the virus is rampant and a certain percentage of the population don't seem to want to follow certain protocols to prevent the spread, as it messes with their summer holiday plans!
