Dick Grayson is easily my favorite of these, but Alfred would make a great Batman if he got the chance.

I’d love to see a video solely about Dick Grayson’s run as Batman. I know you’ve done a few episodes featuring Dick Grayson/Nightwing, but it’d be cool to see you cover his stint as Batman. Especially since a lot of people don’t really know a lot about his run as Batman. Same with Bucky Barnes as Captain America. He had a run that lasted for a while but nobody really knows a lot about the events that happened during his stint as the character. It’d actually just be cool to see several one shots on various people who took up the mantle of another hero and different story arcs from their run under the mantle.

I'd go with Jason, since he looks&acts like a reallistic Batman. Also he was the only one to use proper armor (pre-new52) and a goddamn guard for his mouth.

I don't understand, why whenever Thomas Wayne is mentioned as being a version of Batman do they only talk about the Flashpoint Thomas Wayne Batman and never the Earth 2 Thomas Wayne Batman? I love the Flashpoint Thomas Wayne Batman, but Earth 2 is awesome! He's 65 years old and he's beefed up on Miraclo, the drug that gives him enhanced strength, speed, endurance, and durability. He beats the living shit outta guys and kills villains left and right. And he has THE best Bat-suit of all time. And in the Earth 2 storyline Bruce was already Batman and died saving the world from Darksieds invasion. Thomas had been previously revealed to be alive and had faked his death so, despite Bruce hating the fact his father was alive and had basically abandoned him, Thomas realizes that the best way to honor his sons memory is to take up the mantle of the Bat himself. It's such an awesome story and Earth 2 Thomas Wayne Batman reminds me of kind of a Dark Knight Returns Batman on steroids. My favorite alternate version of Batman. And the suit is just sick!

Dick deserves the mantle of The Batman.

Jason is definitely my favorite batman, he is ruthless but I feel like if batman was real, Jason is the way he’d be. Plus he actually looks like he is prepared to fight with a mouthguard to further protect his identity. Jason is also my pick for who should really be the successor of Bruce, Dick doesn’t want it. Tim is ok but he really does not give off Batman vibes. Damian is too much and he would be too scary. But if Jason really decided to be Batman and actually got support from the other members of the Bat-family, something he almost never gets, I think he would want to be the best Batman he could be. Plus it would be a good story arc.

I find it funny how Morrison made Damien with the intent of making a totally new character and found out about the story and said it was cannon, despite clear differences in how Damien was born. Robin/Dick Grayson became Batman for the first time back in the 50s in a number of "fictional" stories written by Alfred where Dick became Batman II and Bruce's & Catwoman's [or Batwoman's, I forget which] son became Robin II.And even though it wasn't in the comics, how could you not mention that Alfred became Batman a time or two in the Batman TV show back in the 60s?

Thomas Wayne is Batman in the Flashpoint timeline, but he is also Batman on the New 52 Earth 2. Spolier-ish: The Earth 2 Bruce Wayne is Batman, but dies during an Apokolips invasion, and then Bruce's dad, Thomas (who is alive on this Earth) takes over as Batman for his son.
