Did you know that the Center for Food, Youth & Community will be able to operate 12 days without grid access, in the case of a public safety power shutoff? This will allow us to continue to make and preserve thousands of medically tailored meals, even without power, and serve those such as our client, Sara!
“After surviving a horrific surgery I underwent 9 months of chemotherapy and even with strong support from friends and family, it was the Ceres program that made a huge difference in my daily life. The healthful, nurturing foods delivered with such grace by volunteers sustained me, and I believe hastened my recovery...Ceres is truly an amazing organization on so many levels. It is a great blessing to our community and a sound model for the rest of the country.” ~Client Sara
This is just one of the many great benefits our upcoming Center for Food, Youth and Community will have. Our future home is vital for allowing Ceres to continue expanding and meet growing needs in our community as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.
