I just found your channel. Finally there is a channel where a professional is speaking. I would like to add that if you use Windows, multiplay is a good program if you need a Qlab-style program.

I don't know how you can get through a show without mixing station, an app for android or iOS, to control the sound desk, often better than the official app, but always the same easy to use UI no matter the console. It's great for making tweaks when you aren't at the console

It absolutely is! As far as outside band shows go I've probably had more flight time mixing on an iPad than a console!

Great collection of software! Definitely saving this one. One I could add is REW or any other software that can calculate room modes. It's useful to know beforehand, which specific low frequency bands could be a problem during the gig.

I would add Pro Presenter? It’s specific to House of Worship perhaps, but a good app to be familiar with.

Hey, Phu. I honestly haven't used the iPad version of OSM, just the desktop. But Pavel (the developer) says that any interface "should" work as long as it has the appropriate number of IO to pull the number of mics you want off.

Wifi Analyzer and Network Manager phone (android) apps. Good to know what channels the house/venue wifi is on so I know if my FOH wifi needs to be switched to a different channel.

Do most of comb filtering can be removed by delay settings .when sound of two or more speakers interfere

Yes, if you're able to sync them in the time domain much of the comb filtering will be removed. You still have to find the right place in your audience to sync them, though : )

If I'm just needing to A/B the tonality of a system with different tracks in a live setting, then Spotify works just fine.

What about REW? Is Open Sound Meter better than REW?

REW is fantastic tool for offline measurements and data analysis in studio environments, but Open Sound Meter wins in the online measurements which are necessary for live sound. You COULD use REW in a live environment and do sine sweeps, but using a dual channel FFT that can show you a live IR, phase, and magnitude graph works better for a tuning setup. And is faster overall.

I've been using LiveProfessor through dante. It's inexpensive and you aren't limited to only waves plugins. Not quite as reliable or user friendly as soundgrid though.
