Because wood is not cheap this will be expensive but for what you’re actually getting it’s definitely cheap. The only thing I disliked (just drove me crazy) was you kept calling screws “nails”. Everything you did was absolutely perfect and thank you so much for posting. On my way to the store now and will post pictures when done!

Can you post a list of the lumbar materials you purchased? I know in the beginning you said 30 1x4 but didn’t say how long but I’m assuming 12 ft. Then I didn’t catch the size of the wood pieces you nailed on the underside of the planks to secure or the size of the wood for the legs. Thank you so much! I want to make one of these for my daughters birthday this month. 🥰

We kept finding we needed a folding table. This is so easy to store. kzfaq.infoUgkxStL0QRChBju4aQlnTrRgBZvafFog0KU3 Opening and closing is easy as well. It has a great handle for carrying around the house. Its pretty lightweight and slides around easy. We bought it for our daughter’s first sleepover. Breakfast was a blur - but 12 7-8 year olds fit at the table with room to spare. We used it at thanksgiving and 6 adults fit comfortably on each side plus 2 on either end for a total of 8. Super easy to clean up afterwards as well.

Omg these are beautiful! Great job! Thank so much for sharing! I hope you don’t mind but I have a few questions : I saw your reply below about the width of the table and I’m a little confused. If you used 1 in. x 4 in. slates which is actually 3/4 in. x 3 1/2 in. slates wouldn’t the width of the table - before the frame - be 42 inches? And if that is correct, wouldn’t the width with the frame be 43 1/2 inches (42 inches + (3/4 x 2) each ? Also for the underneath, what dimension wood did you use? It looked smaller or am I seeing things lol?
@twodegreesnojob
@twodegreesnojob 2 жыл бұрын

@twodegreesnojob
@twodegreesnojob 3 жыл бұрын
Hi! If you are not please subscribe to my channel. My nails were 1". Any drill will work, does not have to be expensive. My. best advice is that when you go to hardware store you measure the nail against the wood you are going to use. Make sure that the nail size protrudes but does not come out the other end of the wood. Wishing you the best on your project.

Well done. I know you stated that you are not a carpenter, but please get yourself a safer 'work-bench' to cut your wood on! Stacking a couple of buckets, and placing a plank of wood across the top, is not the safest surface to be using. Safety is important. It will also allow to get more accurate cuts. Peace.
