What no unload spill for 10 min? Don’t know all the technical names of all the parts… like the rest of us! I love it. Well done. Easy to follow..

I know this is an old video, but I thought I’d chime in just in case someone else was looking like I was. I inherited my late fathers Beretta Model AL2 12 gauge and decided to break it out for teal season this year. I wanted to give it a decent cleaning after using it in the rain and rice fields. Found this video and although it’s not the same gun, it is similar and helped me get it back together without having to fight with it or worry about damaging anything! Thanks for the video! Cheers!

Agreed, awesome video. I have my grandads AL2 which was his retirement present in 1973. My middle son uses it to compete in trap shooting and sporting clays. Yes, he competes either his great grandads shotgun. It runs perfect. God bless Beretta! 😉

I know this was a year ago, but you’re completely missing an important piece of your gun. What you call the “top gas chamber mechanism” is actually a place holder for the secondary gas bleed. Which is a spring. Here should be a spring sitting on that little metal circle. I would imagine that if the gun cycles at all, it doesn’t cycle light loads as it vents the maximum amount of gas away from the piston. Cole Gunsmithing carries these springs, good luck.

Thanks for the input! To be honest I’ve cleaned this gun like this consistently for 10 years and use loads from 4 to 9 shot (2-3/4” & 3”) and it’s as consistent like a clock. But could you send a video of this? I’d like to see this in detail!
