1) What to wear (link in the description box) 2) don't bring your mum (seriously) 3) timing is key 4) stay away from your phone 5) know the name of person interviewing u 6) don't get too comfortable 7) don't complain about your past employer 8) don't say you want the job just for cash 9) don't highlight your negative traits 10) practice interview questions 11) ask questions (good ones) and research

Zhongsha, what if your a foster kid from a foster home with no parents? Or your parents just died? Kids lose their parents. I like my new manager. He doesn’t believe in colorism and finally we don’t have a color blind manager. If I mention it, it’s true.

To all posting comments about being nervous. Anxiety is perfectly normal, you're human after all. The key to a successful interview is preparation. If you're prepared, you're going to be more relaxed. Research the company, research the job role. Be aware of common questions to be asked and create a set of questions to ask at the end. If you're not successful, take it on the chin, it will make you stronger and you'll be better prepared next time. Incidentally, if you are unsuccessful, why not contact the company for feedback. Many companies are delighted to provide this.

I'm in the EXACT same situation you are. Even down to the times you posted. My interview is also at 10AM and it's 1:03 AM right now. Hopefully I don't flunk the interview.

when they're asking why you want to work would it be good to say something like 'I'm interested in working here to gain more experience in customer service, to get myself out of the house and to also build up my confidence' does that sound good?? I'm going for an interview tomorrow!!

I think what matters is how you word your response and your tone. So if you respond with enthusiasm on goals and achievements then it shows good personality :)

An up to date Resume is probably a good idea. There are plenty of templates online..or you can get one professionally produced.

Volunteer or club memberships can back up the lack of experience. I only have one job experience but I backed it up with volunteer service and an organization so I still get called for interviews :)

Thank you so much this video helped a lot ❤ I have an interview today after school at Chuck E Cheeses and the only thing I really struggled with was when they ask me like "tell me about yourself" and I usually say like "im good working, adaptable and wonderful at working with others" and more stuff like that so that's the only thing i wish would have been covered more in this video, but otherwise it was real helpful. I have so much more confidence now ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Biggest thing thing to remember for an interview. If you went to the interview, it means you want to work there. When they ask you why do you want to work here, Don't answer the question from your interests. Answer it from theirs. And you should know what your employers interests are especially for your position.

Job security is not telling your boss how great you are. Job security is how well you perform what is expected of you, and continue to do so even when you feel overwhelmed at times. There's no substitute for reliability.

I got so nervous in my interview that I forgot everything I prepared for. 😔 I wasn't myself. I didn't get the job. So far I've interviewed for more jobs lately in comparison to a few jobs I've applied for years previous , so I feel okay that I even got interviews at least.

It's funny how you said don't bring your mom. When I first talked to my mom about job interviews, she actually suggested going with me to her interviews. Even to me, that didn't sound too appropriate lol She did offer to drive me to my interview tomorrow, but I opted out and said I'll just take the bus, even though the bus does take longer
