Hey KZfaq! So I finally became a Double Ace. This video is how it happened. we have some pretty intense moments in this match. we critically damage a P40 in a stall maneuver, get hunted by a squad of XP-50s and successfully dismantle a "Right Echelon" formation. Enjoy :).

Man, this type of content makes me wish to grind the planes a bit more. Grinded them up to 4.0 BR German tech tree and never touched them since the tanks came out lol

you fly so smooth, what HOTAS are you using? can you share or make a video with your config? I started playing low br and its so hard to aim properly like you do!

Thankyou friend! I can give you some tips, number 1 is trim, I usually trim my aircraft to my cruise speed and make minor adjustments to the trim as needed to get it as smooth as possible if you're slower or faster than your cruise speed. tip 2. if your joystick is new it might still be very sensitive to minor movements, the more you use your stick, the smoother it will become I promise lol. tip 3. spend tons of time in test flight until you feel comfortable with your aircraft, the more seat time you have in the aircraft the more comfortable you'll feel about its limitations and such. I'm always a little wobbly on new planes I've never flown before. I use the T.flight hotas 4 and when I first got it I had the same issue, had to turn my in game sensitivity super low to make up for it but I've worked in the stick and its super smooth now. I've since turned my in game sensitivity up to 60 60 60. also play around with your "linearity" and "non-linearity" settings to make your flights even more smooth. you could copy my exact settings but it still might not work for you. sensitivity is all personal preference. that's why you gotta mess around in the controls and see what works best for you. trust me you'll find a good mix of setting that work

@@AnarchyT3 you see I don't agree with your settings, it limits you. When you move sens to 60 then you are losing a lot of responsiveness. It is the best to keep sensitivity at 100% and non-linearity to 1. Only then you have exact 1:1 controls and only then you can use full potential. It is difficult to get used first but practice and you will see how much easier riding a stall in spitfire is when your smallest move makes a difference. I only keep rudder at lower sensitivity as I use flaps on a throttle and those have small movement range.

Honestly, more people need to get onto Sim. You can respawn as long as you have lions in the bank. You can slap fools out of the air for hours on end. At the higher tiers, especially during events, it's not uncommon to get 20 kill games. The more people play, the more likely we are to get some actual improvements in earnings when we ask for them. At the moment the only thing holding sim back is the godawful SL and RP rewards.

Do it! You don't need the foot pedals that costs as much as the joystick if not more. However it's good to have for helicopters. But sim is the way to go.

Hello how much rudder do u use when aiming? Your aim is so smooth when i use my rudders on my twist stick my aim is going nuts (all sens settings are done btw 0% yaw). Also is there any tips to improve accuracy?

hey, thank you for the comment, I currently use 60, 60, 60 on ALL of my surface controls. I remember starting out I had my sens super low (all under 5). I just gradually turned my sens up until I felt comfortable: SENS TIP - a slow sens just means your aircraft reacts to the input on your stick later. you should be aiming for 100 100 100 sens but thats still a long way for me as well. take your time with the sens, learn the values in the controls and figure out what suite YOU best, its gonna take some time. AIMING TIP - try to give yourself more room when trying to shoot an aircraft meaning lead your target a bit more, shoot from a farther distance and most important, know the strengths and weaknesses of your aircraft! that will help you greatly in knowing what maneuvers you can do and how much lead you need on a target! my apologies for the storybook, I hope I could help! o7 friend :)

@@kapgankhan35 I mainly use rudders when I notice an aircraft. if I'm just flying around and no ones near my I will just use aileron and elevator but when moving in on a target I use rudder to help stabilize the aircraft more. if you slightly rudder into your turn you can have a little more room on the stick to pull. so yeah I mainly use rudder for fighting other aircraft and performing BFM (basic fighter maneuvers) sorry about the late reply!

Is the fw190 A5 good? Or should i keep playing with the A1 and A4? Im scared to play the A5 because of its br, i have some 109s in the same br and when i join sim battles all i see is lvl 80+ sweats.

I can unequivocally tell you the A5 is worth is, the a5 is great I just prefer the A4. that model is my favorite and I understand the BR rating putting you with sweats that's why I fly the A4, I originally flew the A5 First when I was learning sim and I didn't learn much because it was so sweaty, kept getting shot down. the A1 to the A4 is great if you're just trying to chill and have a relaxed session, if you want intense fights and all that I would use the A5 and pretty much any model after the A5. pretty much it's personal preference but I mainly fly the A4 and have tons of fun with it :)

You can respawn if you pay..the higher the rank the higher the cost.

what game mode is this, i find that the BR arcade is too hectic with players

this is Simulator Mode, you can see the game mode when you switch between arcade and realistic and all those options. the mode locks you to cockpit view, you get no lead indicator like arcade and you have to actually aim the plane itself. there's no 3rd person in sim. its a steep learning curve but very very rewarding when you get the hang of it lol in my opinion you should give it a try! I think you'll enjoy it :)

i have tried IL-2 sturmovik, battle of stalingrad to be specific. i love IL-2 for when im looking for that super realistic accuracy but i like war thunder for how easy it is to get into, its a lot more accessible to more people and it has a very good simulator mode. just not enough people to play it lol

Does the "Keen Vision" skill improve the detection distance of friendly planes in Sim, so that the blue marker appears earlier?

in my honest opinion, i dont think it makes much of a difference in realistic or sim.. i could be wrong but i think for ground arcade and maybe ground realistic it makes it so you can see enemey tanks from farther out and see them better behind cover.. other than that i dont know that it does much for air sim/RB specifically if at all.

That ram was easily avoidable. Weird thing seeing this happen to a player with clearly great piloting skills. Also it's hilarious to see Fw 190 wing ripped off in 1 hit. Nowadays most 20mm can do that and it's ridiculous.

ya know, it gets boring if you're just flying around shooting things all the time. i think the ram made it more interesting tbh. but yes, i could have done more to avoid it. try not to take video games so seriously eh? you won't get hurt. LOL. the xp-50 spam in sim and every other game mode is cancer, it was a very amusing match notheless. 20mm do be strong

@@AnarchyT3 I do not take them "seriously". It just looked like you had some kind of brain freeze, because suiciding like that was pretty damn pointless. I absolutely hate XP-50s. Extremely hard to deal with, and these 2MGs with 500RPG they can spam for half a day...

First off: That was truly great flying, even with a few mishaps! ;) Remembers me to visit Sim-mode more often in planes (mostly playing SIM in tanks). However, and please don't take it personal, but; _Your recorder/encoding-settings are almost horrid, mostly pixel-porridge!_ Especially when you zoom in and with close caption in general. What settings do you use? Do you encode using Intel QuickSync or nVidia CUDA/Experience? If so, please drop everything nVidia for encoding, 'cause it REALLY hurts the quality. NVidia may be at times faster, but the quality is one of the worst and you literally destroy most of your (art-) work that way .. If possible, please use Intel-QuickSync or other CPU-Encodings but stay away from anything nVidia, as it not only makes everything look bleak and mushy, but even pixelates things. Just my personal preference, but I always record lossless anyway. There are great codecs for such. Since recording AND encoding into x/H/h.264/AVC/VC-1 or whatever WHILE recording, not only stresses the GPU a lot, it also revokes the whole ability to use the material later on. I've a dedicated couples TB HDD for recording alone, record onto it using lossless-codecs or near-ones (Lagarith) and use DxTory for it. The qaulity is night and day .. You definitely should look into that! Anyway, great show and flying, chapeau! ♥

@@AnarchyT3 I#m just saying, it's such a bummer that your work is mostly degraded by subpar encoding. I know many use nVidia out of convenience, though nVidia's infamous pixel-porridge is not only well known for bleak and lacklustre imagery. It's so notorious for its bad quality, that you can almost instantly say if it was encoded using nVidia within seconds of just looking at the video. You shouldn't mind a couple of seconds or minutes longer encoding, when you preserve +90% quality this way. The content is too precious and your work too unique to waste it on nVidia's encoding-garbage. :) PS: Remember to encode using 4:2:2 colourspace!

i dont have a video with keybinds as i use a joystick and throttle with a head tracker so my controls are very custom and wouldnt really work for a mouse and keyboard. im also very terrible at flying mouse and keyboard sso i just dont lol
