A masaledar dish, Achari Aloo Recipe is a spicy and tangy dry potato sabzi that is spiced with the punjabi style pickle that is finished off with some coriander leaves and a splash of freshly squeezed lemon juice. It is spicy and tangy and can be served with parathas for breakfast or as a side dish with your everyday meals. Serve it along with Dal Tadka and Phulkas for a simple lunch meal.
Ingredients:
Aloo (4-5 medium & boiled)
Achari Masala’s:
Jeera (1 Tbsp)
Souf (2 Tbsp)
Methi dana (0.5 tsp)
Ajwaain (1/2 tsp)
Kalonji / Nigella seeds ( 1 tsp)
Hing (1/2 tsp)
Dry spices:
Chilli powder (2 Tbsp)
Dhaniya powder (3 Tbsp)
Jeera powder ( 1 Tbsp)
Haldi (1 tsp)
Garam masala (1/2 Tbsp)
Amchur powder (1-2 tsp)
Salt ( to taste)
Kasoori methi (1 tsp)
Coriander leaves ( handful)
Ghee(1 Tbsp)
Oil (3 Tbsp) for cooking
