I was in Monterrey last December and needed medicine. They told me I needed a prescription. I told them I didn't have a doctor. She took me by the hand through the door and down the side walk. Next door was a doctor's office. For a few dollars and minutes I had the script. What an Awesome Experience!

I just bring charcoal capsules incase of food poisoning/ stomach distress. I had severe stomach cramps due to eating bad food and after taking 2 of these my symptoms vanished within 20 min. This supplement absorbs toxins in your stomach/intestines and then are expelled when you poo. For me it's the only thing I use for this problem. It's good to share, thank you for your input on Mexico life and I look forward to seeing your videos.

Thank you Jordan and May as always very informative video and also fun to watch. Dear friends I have not related question, and already desperate to find an answer (also I don't speak Spanish yet. I am working in IT related field and have travel to Mexico with 2 laptops. So, I know there is a law - 1 laptop per person when you enter to Mexico. And last time I was forced to pay taxes ($100) for the one laptop (they didn't put any laptop info on the receipt). This month I need to go back to Canada and month after to return to Mexico with all the same 2 laptops. Is there any way to contact customs or something to do to make sure that they know that I carry those laptops from Mexico out and in?

Congrats on your marriage!! :) I must say, we never had issues with the seafood in San Miguel de Allende, nor in Queretero, when we would travel there, because I think of the health agencies in those cities are pretty strict with the restaurants. But yeahh, honestly, I never ate the street food--didn't trust that! ;) But I never got sick when I lived there, not from the food! :D

# 10--Note from an American Doctor--Most Tourists with Montezuma's revenge ( tourists' diarrhea) also have history of Excessive Alcohol & Sun. Also while this is an interesting video, I suspect men just stare at Maya's sweater.

In Colombia also the way some cities control so much traffic is by plate. Even numbers are allowed to drive certain days and odd numbers other days. It works well. Si if your car has an odd number and you are in an even number you have to rather ride a bus or ride with a friend. We should try that here in the big cities if USA

Years ago [nearly 20?] when my wife and I first went to Cancun/Playa, I made the mistake of asking if the water in the restaurant was 'okay'. The waiter said, very patiently, 'Senor, even Mexicans don't drink the tap water here'. I stood corrected. Question: While shopping in the big Chedraui in Cozumel, I saw something that looked like water disinfectant for washing food and kitchen items. Was I correct in thinking that? Is something like that usual in Mexico?

Boy did i ever have a good case of MR. The good part was i made it home to Palm Springs CA before it hit. I guess what im trying to say is they use real cane sugar in Mexico whereas we in the US usually use corn sugar.
