While it’s key to have a great set of fantasy baseball draft rankings, it’s also important to know a player’s average draft position (ADP). This allows you to see where a player is likely to be drafted versus where the experts have the player ranked. You can then ‘reach’ for a player that experts are higher on before they are usually selected by your league-mates.

should have some concern over goldy tbh. his career avg vs fastballs is like .308 and last year he was hitting .248 against them... he worked with driveline to improve his bat speed but the clear regression from age is there..

This is exactly why he’s a draft day steal unless of course you play in a Rookie league. Goldy’s regression had much more to do with the Cardinals completely stinking it up not his age.

I've seen more than a few down on Miller. I don't get it. Where he's getting drafted, I see good value. I also like Goldy to bounce back. He's a lot better value where he's going this year as apposed to last season.

pitchers to target in picks 100-150 include bailey ober, michael king, cole ragans, nick pivetta, and carlos rodon. Also shota imanaga in the 180+ range. My personal opinion/what I've heard listening to different experts.

Also note that pivetta, ragans, and king all have reliever eligibility despite all being starters this year which is important for leagues that require some relievers

Skubal is so highly ranked going into this season. This has "bust" written all over it based on how high in the draft he'll go. Matt McClain is in a crowded infield and i would anticipate some regression. Cruz has a lot of swing and miss in his game. Goldschmidt is in the twilight of his career. Draft him at your own risk. I see regression coming for Jarren Duran. He is slated to bat leadoff though. Brandon Lowe cannot stay healthy and his BA has been abysmal.

Skunal Where he’s being drafted it’s a hard no for me. I’d rather have established big leaguers. He might have a better year but the chances that he has a far worse year are a whole lot greater. McClain is already injured and yeah lots of bats there. Cruz might not have the same speed. Golds is old and honestly his projected numbers aren’t much better than someone I can draft a whole lot later like Nathaniel Lowe. Duran a fine draft to me where you can get him and Brandon Lowe is an okay end of the draft plug in if you have to.

That's how it is boss! Just watch these for reference... last year I reluctantly ended up buying into the Jordan Walker hype and yeah... Sent back down to AAA after a month into the season, but at the end of the day I was the one who drafted him, not anyone else
