Yeah, Tamaraw is here in Mindoro. But there are two Mindoro, Occidental and Oriental. But you can only see those in Occidental. And go here in Occidental Mindoro after lockdown there so many beautiful places here.

You can find Sinarapan or Tabyos in Bicol, in the Rinconada area. I recommend MCM restaurant in Iriga City, it’s quite a tasty fish & I make sure I have some on my yearly visit to the Philippines.

I'm a retired U.S. GI, living full time in the Philippines, married to a Filipina. I'm getting a kick out of your reactions to the Philippines, although I know you've been here already. I live in Oriental Mindoro, and the only way we can get to Manila is to cross over to the mainland in a ferry, which arrives at Batangas pier. We usually use "Supercats", which is a fast "people" ferry. If you have a car, you can take the car ferry. I am more than capable of driving around in Manila, and have done so, but I don't much like it, as it is FAR too confusing. So, we always hire a van driver who knows where he's going. It's way easier that way.
